Unfortunately, you have the wikipedia process backwards. Once the app has become notable, and has demonstrated that notability by receiving coverage in multiple reliable sources independent of the subject, then an article becomes appropriate. Until then, an article is premature. We need sources that talk about the subject before we write - we don't write an article to generate interest or gain coverage.
