May 2016 edit

Hello, I'm Mahensingha. I wanted to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions to Ra Navghan I has been undone because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks.   Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Junagadh into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. The attribution has been provided for this situation, but if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, please provide attribution for that duplication. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. Kautilya3 (talk) 11:40, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

I noticed your recent edit to Junagadh does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Kautilya3 (talk) 11:41, 24 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

July 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Cpt.a.haddock. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Chudasama, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so! If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Cpt.a.haddock (talk) (please ping when replying) 15:10, 6 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

That artical is distorting real history , what do you mean by reference.

Hello, I'm Utcursch. I noticed that you recently removed content from Chudasama ‎ without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Ra Khengar Vav moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Ra Khengar Vav, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Some updates are added. Lot more can be done with information on its architecture from Jutta Jain-Neu reference Available here, go to pg. 64. Do not copy directly as its copyright violation. Text should be written in our own words. If you are interested, you may expand it further or I will do it later. People of India edit

Hi, the "states" series of The People of India is not considered to be a reliable source on Wikipedia. It was discussed, for example, at our Reliable Sources Noticeboard. The "national" series, which was published by Oxford University Press, is fine to use. - Sitush (talk) 17:55, 8 May 2019 (UTC)Reply

Kindly review the article Raakuldeep (talk) 07:16, 4 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

I have moved article back to draftspace as it is a controversial topic and good quality references are still missing. Travel-guide is also not historically accurate/academic source. So only one reliable source remains. Article is too short as well. Please find some high quality sources.-Nizil (talk) 05:44, 9 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
Moved back to draft. The topic is really notable and important. The current article is very poorly written. It has a lot of grammatical and other mistakes. When a topic is controversial, we should be careful to have good quality references. The article can be created but it should be worth reading first. Please rewrite it and do find some quality references. -Nizil (talk) 14:06, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
I will improve the draft so please be patient. -Nizil (talk) 14:28, 5 September 2020 (UTC)Reply
Its been six months & yet you haven't improved article , Kindly update it Raakuldeep (talk) 15:11, 4 February 2021 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I had missed your reminder and forgotten about the article. The topic was bit controversial and I had not found good academic source then. I will do it some day. -Nizil (talk) 07:24, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
I did some research. I found that the current structure is indeed a mosque built from reusing parts of the former structure which was either a Hindu temple or a Chudasama palace. Ranakdevi Mahal is a modern and legendary name based on folklore. In my opinion, the article should be titled Jumma Masjid. The place is no longer the palace it used to be so calling current structure a palace is not suitable. The Arche. Dept. of Gujarat Govt. also lists it as a Jumma Masjid (official name). The History section of the article will clearly mention that the mosque was built from former structure. And there will be a controversy section about name as well. I think my opinion may not be happy for you as you wanted it to name Ranakdevi Mahal. But the references and structure itself are evident that the place is a mosque with mihrab and associated religious structures and ornamentation. What is your opinion? Should I go ahead with it? Regards,-Nizil (talk) 08:22, 30 June 2021 (UTC)Reply
Now the fort is renovated and there is no such board as jami masjid , there is only board named Ranak Devu Mahal , Do the Needful. Raa Khengar (talk) 06:54, 28 May 2023 (UTC)Reply

January 2024 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Chudasama dynasty, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use your sandbox for that. Thank you. Ekdalian (talk) 07:26, 14 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

The contents were misguided that is why i removed it. Chudasama were yadavs not abhira..you check it first... have good watch in wikipedia... Raakuldeep (talk) 02:03, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
I know my responsibilities; you should be cautious while editing contentious articles. DO NOT remove sourced content from the consensus version without talk page consensus! Thanks. Ekdalian (talk) 07:39, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply
