Your username and some other advice

edit

Hi there. I'm a member of WikiProject Opera and I've noticed your edits to various opera-related articles. Wikipedia is a steep learning curve and there are a couple of things that you need to be aware of, especially the pitfalls of editing when you have a conflict of interest.

Usernames that match or include an organization's name (in this case ROH2) are usually viewed as inappropriate under Wikipedia's username policy. You can ask for a name change at Wikipedia:Changing username/Simple. The reason for this is that such usernames are very often blocked on sight, especially when all their edits pertain solely to adding material related to their organization to Wikipedia.

If you are planning to create an article on ROH2, you need to read this first: Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations. It has excellent advice.

One of Wikipedia's key policies is verifiability. When you add information to an article, you need to add a reference to a reliable source, independent of the subject, that verifies this. This is especially important when you are editing biographies of living persons. I've remedied this in your edits so far. You can take a look at these differences to see how to approach this in your future edits: [1], [2], [3], [4], [5].

You'll notice I made some other changes as well, such as ensuring that the titles of works are in italics (Entanglement not 'Entanglement' or "Entanglement") and adding a brief explanation of what ROH2 is. This is an international encyclopedia and in the absence of an article on ROH2, readers outside the UK (and even most readers within the UK) will have no idea what's being talked about. It's also a good idea to check that when you've made an internal link to another Wikipedia article, that it actually goes to the correct article (if one exists). This is why I removed the link on Entanglement.

If you need any help or advice, don't hesitate to give me a shout on my talk page. Or if it's subject specific and pertaining to opera, the Royal Opera House, etc. feel free to post on Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Opera. We're always happy to help.
