Speedy deletion nomination of Solutions Infini

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Solutions Infini, requesting that it be deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under two or more of the criteria for speedy deletion, by which articles can be deleted at any time, without discussion. If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may be soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, you can place a request here. Dewritech (talk) 07:47, 19 June 2013 (UTC)Reply

Solutions Infini AfD

edit

I reverted your close of Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Solutions Infini for the following reasons:

  • AfDs should only be closed by admins or experienced editors
  • Your username is suspiciously similar to User:Bariummessiah, the article's creator
  • In the unlikely event that this similarity is sheer coincidence, you are still not a neutral party to this debate, having previously pleaded with another editor not to delete the page

So let's let a more uninvolved editor decide the outcome of this discussion, okay? DoctorKubla (talk) 08:55, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Agree entirely - completely inappropriate close, let alone non-admin close. Please familiarise yourself with policy and guidelines here before trying things like that. And agree, further, that the similarity between names and single-purpose is concerning. Stalwart111 13:50, 25 July 2013 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (File:SolutionsInfniLogoOctober2012.jpg)

edit

Thanks for uploading File:SolutionsInfniLogoOctober2012.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Werieth (talk) 02:15, 10 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
