Care needed

Please check your edits: this one left a nonsense. Thanks. PamD 21:13, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

Yep, I made a mistake, it happens. Thanks for actually understanding the so-called "nonsense" and fixing it. PigeonChickenFish (talk) 21:18, 1 December 2022 (UTC)

NRHP names

Thanks for developing Vollmer House article. You may see I edited just a bit just now, including to show the NRHP name "Building at 1737--1739 Webster Street" in the NRHP infobox. I was concerned, though, that the National Register of Historic Places listings in San Francisco had apparently been changed to show "The Vollmer House" or "Vollmer House", which would have indicated the NRHP name was in fact one of those. In your recent edits at National Register of Historic Places listings in San Francisco, though, I see that you were quite properly changing the "article=" field and not the "name=" field, so as to keep showing the NRHP name in the NRHP list-article. And it wasn't you who made the change there...now I see that it was changed from "" to "The Vollmer House" in this edit by a non-logged-in editor on 5 April 2022. So, thanks for paying attention on keeping the NRHP name displaying in the NRHP list-article, too. I will change "--" to "–" though, that is a change that we do make, where the NRHP's NRIS system and documents once did not have the ability to display "en" or "em" dashes. --Doncram (talk, contribs) 09:06, 2 December 2022 (UTC)

I see you are editing there now, hope I haven't caused edit conflict. One thing now, though: you have changed the article to say that it got its CHISL(?) listing on March 8, 1973 with reference to https://www.parks.ca.gov/ (a page that does not show that). It seems very very unlikely to me that a California or San Francisco listing would be upon exactly the same date as the NRHP listing (which is March 8, 1973). --Doncram (talk, contribs) 09:12, 2 December 2022 (UTC)
Doncram Hello! I fixed the CHIL url, thank you for reminding me - the CHIL site has a redirect to their home page and I always have to go back to fix it manually (they are also linked in Wikidata). From my limited experience the NRHP and CHIL dates are frequently the same, or close in date. I am not sure why though? I have only written a handful of these types of articles. Tawfik

Hi there, your edits will be reverted. It was not started in 1923 and the source you put was already given in the article. Egeymi (talk) 06:15, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Egeymi I think was a typo, there were multiple sources stating it started 1923 in the article already. Please check your sources. PigeonChickenFish (talk) 06:17, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
I will. --Egeymi (talk) 06:18, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
Egeymi I left notes on the article talk page for you. I don't understand the mass reversal of edits, new citations, and etc. without discussion. Mass reversal is odd for a single issue like the date. PigeonChickenFish (talk) 07:04, 7 December 2022 (UTC)
I am replying you in the talk page of the article. Yes you may be right, but you should also have discussed the "mass changes" before you inserted them. Then there would be no such "mass" reverts. --Egeymi (talk) 07:08, 7 December 2022 (UTC)

Your timing is perfect!

As it happened, I needed to look up the usual gender for the name Bahar today, so I am glad that you created that article mere hours before I needed it! --GentlemanGhost (séance) 20:08, 16 December 2022 (UTC)

An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Gerry, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Gerry Sharpe.
