Notability and promotion

I've had to delete the pages because ultimately it was very promotional (the film article) and there were issues of notability (the biography).

The film article was promotional because it was written as a WP:SOAPBOX for the film and the viewpoints therein. Stuff like "impressive performances" is pretty unambiguously promotional. This was also in the article for Gérard, since you added in things like "This film is a poetic underwater trip with the quadruple world champion of freediving emphasising the importance of respecting and coexisting peacefully with our beatiful planet." That's a personal opinion at best and at worst it comes across like you're trying to sell the film to people. As for notability, the issue is that ultimately you didn't show where this film or the director has received coverage in independent and reliable sources. You have WP:PRIMARY sources like official websites and you also tried to use Wikipedia as a source - something that is not permitted on here except in extremely rare circumstances.

Offhand I just don't see where either the film or its director would pass notability guidelines even if the promotional tones were cleaned up. It does look like you're probably the person himself, so I'd like to ask that you not take this badly - notability guidelines on Wikipedia are extremely strict and there are a lot of people who do not pass. I take your two deletion as an offense and lack of respect to someone who is not my friend (reveuse). everything was only factual and you interpreted the way you wanted to turn these pages down. I am not sure what to think about Wikipedia

i tried to edit today something that is connected to a research project which is not promotionnal at all i didnt even mentionned name. at the middle of the editing, you already put a deletion. i think i will never contribute to wikipedia if nothing i write and all the time i spend is useless

Hi, i did not do "sockpuppetry", i start being very surprised by the behaviour of "War Wizard" who spend his time to really demotivate me to continue to add content on Wikipedia, by lack of politeness and now by accusing me of a kind of felony. Good luck with the investigation and i hope you will apologize when you will have the truth. You have to know that I did send this link to the french government that sponsors this public work in order to show that i was doing my work of publically give for free some simplified results of the research in order to help people to be sensitive to the quality of 3D and not always condamn the 3D format. there is rarely hyper sensitivity to 3D, but there are a lot of errors in 3D content creation, and I dont want to give title where 3D issues are found. in the "3D film" page, you allow in the health topic a "3D Bashing" based on the self declaration of someone found on a blog, that broke his arm, because he saw the film 3D jurassic world. I sent this link to the 3D community to react. i hope they will do. Sincerely.

consider this very high level contribution before deletion, and I hope you will stop trying to accuse me of any kind of felony that i find very negative in the worldwide process of helping Wikipedia to be a very valuable source of information. I edited a huge paragraph about a very famous discomfort that is key to 3D format development, I dont see that part located in the same section that the gossip of the health section of your "3D film" page. I hope to be treated with respect in the future on your plateform! i am writing on your plateform on the behalf of very serious governmental organizations, i suggest WarWizard to stop considering this topic as useless.
