Please, is the CURRENT name of the school Wesley College or Wesley College of Science? Darreg (talk) 20:09, 12 May 2017 (UTC)
- It is currently Wesley College of Science. Over the years, the school name has changed a number of times; but Wesley College has always remained in the name. Making Wesley College of Science the main article may lead to ambiguity (year of establishment for example). Saying Wesley college of science was founded in 1905 may be misleading. The college old student association comprises of members that graduated from different evolutionary specie of Wesley College, yet the college number sequence originates from 1905. @Darreg:, Your interest in this article is highly encouraging and appreciated. This is a global online edit-a-thon, which is happening in at least 5 language editions of Wikipedia, including the English Wikipedia! ArbCom 2018 election voter message edit
Hello, Oshhhh. Voting in the 2018 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23.59 on Sunday, 3 December. All users who registered an account before Sunday, 28 October 2018, made at least 150 mainspace edits before Thursday, 1 November 2018 and are not currently blocked are eligible to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.
The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

AfroCine: Join the Months of African Cinema this October! edit

After a successful first iteration of the “Months of African Cinema” last year, we are happy to announce that it will be happening again this year, starting from October 1! In the 2018 edition of the contest, about 600 Wikipedia articles were created in at least 8 languages. There were also contributions to Wikidata and Wikimedia commons, which brought the total number of wikimedia pages created during the contest to over 1,000.

I believe it would be great if the (Requests for uncreated articles) section in our wiki project can be attended to & at least one article be created this weekend as some requests have been pending since 2016. We hereby want to officially welcome new volunteers who have recently joined the collaborative project and have volunteered to work in WP:NIGERIA. There are a total of 22 Federal Medical Centres, 20 University Teaching Hospitals and 13 Federal Specialty Hospitals in Nigeria, but articles about these hospitals are missing on Wikipedia and this project will seek to create these articles on the English Wikipedia.
