COI or Paid

edit

Hello Oschyrba. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a category of conflict of interest (COI) editing that involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is prohibited by our policies on neutral point of view and what Wikipedia is not, and is an especially serious type of COI; the Wikimedia Foundation regards it as a "black hat" practice akin to black-hat search-engine optimization.

Paid advocates are very strongly discouraged from direct article editing, and should instead propose changes on the talk page of the article in question if an article exists. If the article does not exist, paid advocates are extremely strongly discouraged from attempting to write an article at all. At best, any proposed article creation should be submitted through the articles for creation process, rather than directly.

Regardless, if you are receiving or expect to receive compensation for your edits, broadly construed, you are required by the Wikimedia Terms of Use to disclose your employer, client and affiliation. You can post such a mandatory disclosure to your user page at User:Oschyrba. The template {{Paid}} can be used for this purpose – e.g. in the form: {{paid|user=Oschyrba|employer=InsertName|client=InsertName}}. If I am mistaken – you are not being directly or indirectly compensated for your edits – please state that in response to this message. Otherwise, please provide the required disclosure. In either case, do not edit further until you answer this message. In2020 (talk) 06:13, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello. Your allegation, unsupported by any facts, regarding the financial order is completely baseless, unjustified and sounds like a slander against me as a person. I have no financial interests.
Secondly, it was not clear on what grounds Yefim Shabshai's page was deleted, given that it was on the Internet for a month and there were no comments on it. The page was removed without prior warning, without any discussion, which is a direct violation. the last edit of this site was the addition of a photo. This is not a reason to bring forward the charges that have been received from you.
Please return the page to Wikipedia. Thank you. Oschyrba (talk) 12:04, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
First of all don’t move unsourced drafts to the main namespace of you do you will be reported and the article will be nominated for permanent deletion, now secondly if you don’t have a coi how you own the image of the subject you uploaded? You asserted that the picture is your own work. Unless you took the picture yourself, it is not your own work. The photographer owns the copyright. Unless the copyright owner licenses the picture with an appropriate license, it is not acceptable on Commons or on Wikipedia. Mere "permission" is completely insufficient. Please delete the picture from commons and ask the actual photographer to upload it. -Arch dude (talk) 15:29, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
OK, the image has been removed Oschyrba (talk) 15:35, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
Will you return the article to Wikipedia? Oschyrba (talk) 15:17, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

Relationship with other users

edit

Apart from the COI issue can you disclose your relation with user user Andre321678, user Luxury Muxury and user Leobadboy? Do you know them? I strongly suspect there is something going on so I need your answer before I start SPI. In2020 (talk) 17:22, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply

To be honest, this is the first time I have heard of these persons. I have nothing to do with these people. Although... I don't understand why did this question even arise?(Oschyrba (talk) 17:28, 16 September 2023 (UTC)Reply
