Canadian Internal Waters

You can't say that it refers to the NWP only when it runs through the waterways that seperate the Canadian Arctic Archipelago. The NWP also travels through the Beaufort Sea which is not part of the Canadian Arctic Archipelago and they may be referring to that as well. Thanks for drawing my attention to the Maud (ship). I wasn't familiar with her before. But the article doesn't support your assertion that she traversed the Northwest Passage prior to the St. Roch. Rather she traversed the Northeast Passage.

So, I changed the article.
