Managing a possible conflict of interest

edit

Hello, the article you created has now been accepted. However, if you have any connection with the subject of the article you need to read WP:COI and make the necessary declarations. This is not any sort of reflection, but just one of the ways in which Wikipedia tries to ensure neutrality.

On an associated subject, the duplicate page here should probably be deleted now that there is an article in mainspace. You can do this by placing {{Db-g7}} at the top of the markup. Thank you. Eagleash (talk) 14:04, 11 August 2020 (UTC)Reply

Image issues

edit

Hello, I have removed the image again. It cannot be replaced until licensing has been sorted. Wikipedia takes this sort of thing very seriously and contravening rules could land you in difficulty. I noticed when you added it that you tagged it as 'own work'. Seemed unlikely to me then, that you could take a picture of your grandfather when he was aged 25 or so. The reason it was initially removed was explained in the edit summary (always read those) and you need to go to the file at Commons and see if there's a way to licence it correctly. If the picture was a 'team' or club image then the copyright will lie with the club or the photographer; but Commons help should be able to assist (or explain). Hello, ok thank you for the message. I didn't mean to leave a bad impression. I just didn't know why it was removed it is his original photo.Ognjen Cicic (talk) 14:11, 25 August 2020 (UTC)Reply
