Ted Ruth deletion

Even if Ted Ruth failed some notability, he was still traded for one of the best players of his era, Sergei Fedorov. That would earn some subjective notability, which isn't measured by Wikipedia's notability standards. Take Jericho Scott for instance. He fails WP:ATHLETE, which is objective notability, because he hasn't played professionally or at the highest level of amateur competition. However, the fact that he wasn't allowed to play because he was too good is a sort of subjective, unwritten notability on Wikipedia that still keeps Jericho Scott and some other articles on Wikipedia. Ted Ruth did get some write-ups in notable newspapers after being traded for Fedorov. This seems to be the only thing that keeps Jericho Scott on Wikipedia, according to what you said on my talk. There have been scores of other kids that have been banned from playing because they were too good and they haven't gotten national write-ups. Somehow this makes them less notable than Scott and less deserving of an article. In addition, I found an article on Athan Maroulis. He doesn't seem notable at all and seems to fail WP:MUSICBIO, but his brother, Constantine Maroulis, was a finalist on American Idol. This seems like the same sort of association to a famous person. I'm not trying to seem pushy or nagging, but if Wikipedia is to be at the highest possible standard, then either all of these type of articles should be okay or none of them should. Hello! I was just wondering why you reverted an edit on that article by Shea DM. I noticed that he has been spamming some articles, but I believe at least half of the edit (Tantallon instead of Tantallion) is correct.

I actually looked at some of the things he's done, and wow... BTW, I'm removing "Lower Tantallon" altogether, ref: [1]. The town name is just "Tantallon". It's not even on the map on that route (south-west of Halifax if you want to check).

Would you object to including provisions that allow for a single non-free image as a last resort if no free images exist? I think this will help bring some of those who object to the support side of the house. At the same time, it also gives a little more ammunition because it indicates it is a last resort; if a free image exists, then those images can't be used. My efforts show that almost all college football teams (which seems to be the general genre of those who oppose), if not all, have a valid free image available. I have no problem with returning the first paragraph. I think there is too much about expansion, ownership of club, etc. though. Let's just keep this simple. 1) Anything you want, as long as it is related to the article (find more information about the championship). 2) My hint to you is that I always put the records from the column, like what you said while replying on my talk page (most champions by coach, by team, most finals, most championship in stadium, etc). Non-conference games vs conferences playoffs

I saw you marked the WCHA playoff series as a non-conference game in 2008–09 Wisconsin Badgers men's ice hockey season and was wondering if this was a mistake or if its standard to mark playoff games as non-conference for these articles?
