Coastal GasLink Pipeline 2Edit

My sincere aplogies and thank you very much for the organization and structure! BrodyKRS (talk) 20:45, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

@BrodyKRS: I had to look at your previous edits to understand. Believe me I am trying to better the articles according to Wikipedia principles and procedures. I will happily answer any questions on my edits. I believe what's relevant to you and me was that I reduced duplication, (there was lots) and moved some text around for organization. No hard feelings I hope. Alaney2k (talk) 21:40, 3 March 2020 (UTC)

@Alaney2k: All of the edits are completley understandable, I just opened the doc and saw the removal of the impact on the Wet'suwet'en People and thought someone was mad that I posted the truth. Then I realized you had just changed the page around and made it better. I am very happy to see someone else looking at both sides of the issue and posting the truth! Wiki editsEdit

So, I’m new to this, and I was wondering if I could have some help. It’s probably right under my nose but is there a list of rules or something I can read? I made an edit to an article but it got removed because it was over a word count I didn’t know existed. And, is there any way to extend that limit? I didn’t think the article I wrote was that long and I have to leave out a lot of detail to get it under the limit. Thanks in advance!!! GodzillaExpert100 (talk) 04:07, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

@GodzillaExpert100: You are not the only one to struggle with the limit of 700 words. I have been in your position, going back and forth in editing. The standard is WP:FILMPLOT and it is firm. It's not that important to be very detailed in a plot. Try to keep that in mind. Don't let it discourage you, try to make it a writing challenge. Other article standards can be found at WP:MOS, the manual of style. Alaney2k (talk) 13:06, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

@Alaney2k: Thanks for the advice! I’m sorry you had to correct the post twice, the first time I didn’t realize why it changed. I mainly use the mobile website, is there a word count somewhere I can check so I know how long what I wrote is without having to count the words? Thanks again for your help and patience! GodzillaExpert100 (talk) 17:20, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

@GodzillaExpert100: I just cut and paste the preview text (not the edit box) to wordcounter.net and use that. We talk quite a bit about the Godzilla franchise amongst us editors. Armegon is a good one to get advice from. Alaney2k (talk) 17:33, 6 March 2020 (UTC)

Sounds good, thanks again! GodzillaExpert100 (talk) 23:03, 6 March 2020 (UTC)
