Welcome!

edit

Hello, علی ۲۲, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of the pages you created, such as The Third Day (2007 film), may not conform to some of Wikipedia's content policies and may not be retained. In short, the topic of an article must be notable and have already been the subject of publication by reliable and independent sources.

Please review Your first article for an overview of the article creation process. The Article Wizard is available to help you create an article, where it will be reviewed and considered for publication. For information on how to request a new article that can be created by someone else, see Requested articles. If you are stuck, come to the Teahouse, where experienced Wikipedians can help you through the processes.

New to Wikipedia? Please consider taking a look at the our introductory tutorial or reviewing the contributing to Wikipedia page to learn the basics about editing. Below are a few other good pages about article creation.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions ask me on my talk page or you can just type {{help me}} on this page, followed by your question, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Mazanderani Wikipedia moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, Mazanderani Wikipedia, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Copying within Wikipedia requires attribution

edit

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from Cinema of Iran into Pre-revolutionary Iranian cinema. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. You can read more about the procedure and the reasons at Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia. Thank you. If you are the sole author of the prose that was moved, attribution is not required. — Diannaa (talk) 13:29, 27 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

This edit to Piruz Nahavandi clearly copied material from the article on Umar. You have been told before that copying material from one Wikipedia article to another requires attribution.-- Toddy1 (talk) 20:45, 18 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Abu Lu'lu'a Firuz. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Thank you. ☿ Apaugasma (talk ) 14:10, 24 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

Reblocked

edit

You immediately resumed your copyright violations, copying content from themoviedb.org for your article at Taraj. As you have shown a complete unwillingness to abide by WP:COPYRIGHT despite promises that you would stop copying content, this block is indefinite. --Yamla (talk) 13:18, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I was blocked from uploading the file last time. Why am I blocked now? Nikan Faze (talk) 13:21, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I don't upload any file. Nikan Faze (talk) 13:22, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply
I've explained, literally immediately above your comment, why you were blocked. Which part are you finding difficult to understand? You were previously blocked for violating WP:COPYRIGHT and indicated you clearly understood; were you lying? This was not limited to uploading files. --Yamla (talk) 13:23, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Can you please tell me exactly where Taraj's article had a problem? Nikan Faze (talk) 13:37, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

You copied the synopsis either from imdb or from themoviedb.org (the same synopsis appears on both sites). I can't repeat the exact content, obviously, but surely you know you copied the content? There's simply zero chance you came up with the exact same synopsis yourself. Seriously, what's the problem here? --Yamla (talk) 13:41, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

I copied the Synopsis from Letterboxed:

https://letterboxd.com/film/invasion-1985/

And it was in the sources! It was one of the four or five sources I had included for the introduction. When you go to the article References section, you will see it! I did not know I had to mention this twice. I think tha's my fals that i don't mention it twice. Sorry. Nikan Faze (talk) 13:53, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

That is inappropriate and a violation of WP:COPYRIGHT. Simply placing a site in an article's references section does not mean you are free to copy and paste content from that site. --Yamla (talk) 13:55, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Im persian. I read the Persian version of this article (WP:Copyright) and did not give a full explanation about it in the Persian article. I had to translate the English version. I'm sorry. Nikan Faze (talk) 13:58, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Perhaps you should stick to editing the Persian version of Wikipedia. You've repeatedly demonstrated you lack the ability to understand the English language policies and guidelines, and you've repeatedly placed the entire project in jeopardy. --Yamla (talk) 13:59, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Yes you are right. But please remove me from the block because many times I have to get help from the English Wikipedia to edit the Persian Wikipedia. For example, copy the infobox of an English article and then copy to persian article and then translate it into Persian . But if I am a block, I can not do this. Instead, I promise to almost zero my contributions to English Wikipedia. Nikan Faze (talk) 14:08, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

No, I am not willing to do this. --Yamla (talk) 14:10, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

But I just destroyed my article by mistake and did not make a big mess. Nikan Faze (talk) 14:12, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

You made a significant mess by violating copyright and I had to clean up your mess. I am not willing to unblock you. WP:GAB explains how you can have another admin review your block. I'll warn you, though, it's unlikely anyone will lift this block given your history of ignoring warnings, making promises, and then immediately violating those promises. --Yamla (talk) 14:14, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

You say as if this violation has happened 10 times. But this violation happened only twice and the first reason was my ignorance and the second reason was the incompleteness of the copyright article in Persian Wikipedia. Nikan Faze (talk) 14:17, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

It is simply not the case that you violated copyright only twice. On this talk page, you can see two warnings, followed by a block, followed by another block. That's at least four times. And that's only the times noted on this talk page. --Yamla (talk) 15:21, 28 November 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I violated the copyright twice. For the first time, I did not know about the exact rules of Wikipedia, and I apologized for that. I went to the copyright article on Persian Wikipedia (because it is my mother tongue) and read it and realized. But this article in Persian Wikipedia is not a completely like English article. The Persian article did not say that if I copied an thing in two parts of the article, I should use the same source for both of them. In my article, I copied two parts from one site. I put the source for the first time. With the second, I did not put a source, thinking that the source is in the References section of the article and its in of and i don't must to mention one source two times. And I was blocked for this crime! Please help me.

Decline reason:

You were previously unblocked on the basis that you wouldn't breach copyright, and then you immediately resumed breaching copyright.
