I noticed you have requested the creation of some WikiRibbons. I've already made File:WikiProject Ribbon.png, File:Admin Barnstar Ribbon.png, and File:Wiknic Ribbon.png and I'm wondering which Barnstars you'd most like transfered into Ribbon form. First off -- nice new ribbons! My current favorite is the Quasar Ribbon. By my count, you've added four to the page; eight more gets you a complete set of the rewards being offered. Since you're taking requests (and since you seem to specialize in "shadowed" ribbons), my order of preference is:

1) Shadowed ribbon for the Copyeditor's Barnstar: Y

2) Shadowed or textured ribbon for the Anti-Spam Barnstar: Y

3) Shadowed or textured ribbon for the Writer's Barnstar:

4) Shadowed or textured ribbon for the Fraternity and Sorority Barnstar: Y

5) Shadowed or textured ribbon for the Red Link Removal Barnstar:

6) Anything else.

And now I'm wondering if you might be able to help me out. I'd like to use the Numeral system for my Stars, but since I've really compressed them to be able to fit in an infobox, I've been entirely unable to make it work. What am I doing wrong? As a first guide, take a look at the code on my Awards page. I took a look at your ribbons page, and you'll have to scale down the numeral image to 55px and set the left margin to minus-53px and the right margin to 2px. If you put the < span > tags in the right place, you should be able to put the numerals on the ribbons just fine. Let me know if you need any more help. Cheers! I stole your coding verbatim, and it worked relatively well (I found that -55px/0px centered the numbers perfectly). But it intoduced some white space between the Ribbons that I find unattractive (See here) especially on the top row. (Compare to the un-numbered version here). Can anything be ton about that? Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here. Progress report: We achieved our primary goal of clearing July, August, September and October 2011 from the backlog. This means that, for the first time since the drives began, the backlog is less than a year. At least 677 tagged articles were copy edited, although 365 new ones were added during the month. The total backlog at the end of the month was 2341 articles, down from 8323 when we started out over two years ago. We completed all 54 requests outstanding before September 2012 as well as eight of those made in September. GOCE November 2012 copy edit drive update

December Notes from the Guild of Copy Editors The December blitz ran from December 8–14. The theme for this blitz was articles tied in some way to religion. Seven editors knocked out 20 articles over the course of the week. Our next blitz will be in February, with a theme to be determined. Feel free to make theme suggestions at the Guild talk page! The January 2014 Backlog elimination drive is a month-long effort to reduce the size of the copy edit backlog. The drive begins on January 1 at 00:00 (UTC) and ends on January 31 at 23:59 (UTC). Our goals are to copy edit all articles tagged in October and November 2012 and complete all requests placed before the end of 2013. Barnstars will be awarded to anyone who copy edits at least one article, and special awards will be given to the top five in the following categories: "Number of articles", "Number of words", "Number of articles of over 5,000 words", "Number of articles tagged in October and November 2012", and "Longest article". We hope to see you there! Coordinator election: Voting is open for candidates to serve as GOCE coordinators from 1 January through 30 June 2014. Voting will run until the end of December.
