Hi there, welcome to Wikipedia! Thanks for your message on my talk page, it's great that you are keen on contributing to our encyclopedia. As a new user, you may find it useful to check out the Wikipedia Adventure.

The 5 Pillars set out the fundamental principles of Wikipedia. I think the main things to be aware of are our policies and guidelines, particularly:

• Verifiablilty
• Reliable sourcing
• Neutral point of view
• Original research
• Notability

If you are planning on creating articles, then I'd recommend creating drafts, and submitting these through the Articles for Creation process, so that more experienced editors can check for any problems before the article goes live.

If you are writing about about companies, then read the notability guideline for companies. You should ensure that content does not appear promotional. You may want to consider signing up with WikiProject Companies, where you can follow discussions and ask any questions you might have. There are also WikiProjects for many other subjects.
