Speedy deletion nomination of Don't play in love

edit

A tag has been placed on Don't play in love requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article has never existed, has been deleted or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you.  [[ axg ⁞⁞ talk ]] 14:51, 3 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:AEK-Athens-icon-1.png. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, we also need to know the terms of the license that the copyright holder has published the file under, usually done by adding a licensing tag. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged files may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the file will be deleted 48 hours after 20:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 20:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Metin3

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Metin3 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, contest the deletion by clicking on the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion," which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate). Doing so will take you to the talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also visit the the page's talk page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, you can contact one of these administrators to request that the administrator userfy the page or email a copy to you. ɠǀɳ̩ςεΝɡbomb 22:06, 7 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. A tag has been placed on File:Atromitos fc crest.jpg.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. "maintain one's innocence" does not mean what you think (your edit in Greeks party)

edit

Hi. In your recent edit [1] you stated that: "decided that Kasidiaris is guilty and Golden Dawn is a criminal organization, therefore Kasidiaris does not maintain his innocence". Are you familiar with the phrase "maintains his innocence"? It means[2] "he says he is not guilty". Which is exactly what the source you erroneously removed says. It's OK. We all make mistakes. The rest of your changes are OK. Thank you for your contributions, kind regards, AkisAr-26 (talk) 06:07, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Additionally, if you want to remove part A, please do not revert an edit that created part A, B and C. Examine carefully the whole edit, and remove only part A. B and C should remain intact. Here [3] for example, you inserted duplicate contented, because you didn't read all related previous edits. Kind regards, AkisAr-26 (talk) 08:58, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thank you for the explanation and the clarification. The main reason why I added the duplicate part is because I think it is important to note the duration of 8 years on top of the article as well, but I will not insist on that, as for other politicians it is not stated in the top of the page. I did some reconstructing though on the last paragraph of Ilias Kasidiaris political career as it had a repetition of the exact same sequence of words within the same paragraph, while it could be nicely rephrased to avoid this with a simple "and", and added that the prosecutor made the charges for the Golden Dawn trial, which had started in 2015 and is nowhere mentioned in the article. Kindly discuss with me any changes you believe that should be done to this. Tranquill Komnin (talk) 16:30, 27 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The 2015 addition and the rephrasing were useful changes. Thank you. Kind regards, AkisAr-26 (talk) 08:16, 29 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
