Hi, and welcome to the WikiProject Greece! As you may have guessed, we're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of topics related to Greece.
A few features that you might find helpful:
- Our sidebar points to most of the useful pages within the project.
- The Announcements and Open tasks section is updated quite regularly. You can watchlist it if you're interested; or, you can add it directly to your user page by including {{WPGreeceOpenTasks}} there.
- Most important discussions take place on the project's main discussion page; it is recommended that you watchlist it.
- The project has a monthly newsletter; it will normally be delivered as a link, but several other formats are available.
There are a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:
- Interested in working on a more complete article? The peer review department of the project would welcome your help!
- Interested in a particular area of Greek history, geography, culture etc. ? There are already two task forces, and you could initiate the creation of more focusing on specific topics or periods.
- Want to know how good our articles are? The assessment department is working on rating the quality of every Greece related article in Wikipedia.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to any experienced member of the project, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around!

Heraion of Perachora
editHi, nice to see you have been around on the project again recently. I came across your name because I greatly enjoyed your article about my favourite little archaeological spot in Greece. What an impressive piece of work! (You might be interested in a few comments I left on its talk page.) Cheers – Fut.Perf. ☼ 21:10, 27 September 2010 (UTC)
Using one of your pictures in a textbook
editI am thinking of including your picture of the Rhamnous temples (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Rhamnous-2.jpg) in a textbook. It would show at about 5 cm high and be credited in the legend to 'J. M. Harrington'. Let me know if you would like any other information (location, URL, whatever) to appear. I can also be contacted at thechabon a a a t hot mail d d d ot com. Thanks very much for uploading that picture. Iiiiaaaa (talk) 17:34, 3 June 2012 (UTC)

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
