December 2019

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article about yourself, at The Raab Collection. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Speedy deletion nomination of The Raab Collection

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on The Raab Collection, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Please see the Wikipedia guidelines on promotion at WP:PROMO and conflict of interest editing at WP:COI. Generally speaking, you shouldn't be creating or editing pages about yourself or a business/project you have created or operate. If your business is truly, as you say in your edit summary, "prominent" then chances are someone will create a valid article for it. JamesG5 (talk) 07:53, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

If the page meets any of these strictly-defined criteria, then it may soon be deleted by an administrator. The reasons it has been tagged are:

The Raab Collection moved to draftspace

edit

An article you recently created, The Raab Collection, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. ——SN54129 14:49, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

I am affiliated with The Raab Collection. I have just added my COI to the Talk page, but the page itself includes no promotional language. Madison (talk) 15:56, 11 December 2019 (UTC)KristinaReply

I removed material about the person named Nathan Raab. It seemed a bit peripheral to the subject. You are encouraged to keep working on the draft, and you can ignore the speedy deletion message just above this section. But please try to write neutrally, which can be difficult for a person with a connection. ☆ Bri (talk) 16:06, 11 December 2019 (UTC)Reply

Draft:The Raab Collection concern

edit

Hi there, I'm HasteurBot. I just wanted to let you know that Draft:The Raab Collection, a page you created, has not been edited in 5 months. The Articles for Creation space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for articlespace.

You may request Userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available at WP:REFUND/G13.

Thank you for your attention. HasteurBot (talk) 01:40, 13 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
