Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Guorui888 edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on User talk:Guorui888, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Cahk (talk) 07:46, 10 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

May 2016 edit

Hello. Regarding the recent revert you made to Star Wars: The Force Awakens: you may already know about them, but you might find Wikipedia:Template messages/User talk namespace useful. After a revert, these can be placed on the user's talk page to let them know you considered their edit inappropriate, and also direct new users towards the sandbox. They can also be used to give a stern warning to a vandal when they've been previously warned. Thank you. Amccann421 (talk) 09:33, 13 May 2016 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of User talk:Incorrigible Troll edit

A tag has been placed on User talk:Incorrigible Troll requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

WMGM-TV edit

Thank you for fixing the Protection Template on WMGM-TV, the one you added is much better and less intrusive then the one I used. YborCityJohn (talk) 08:10, 8 September 2016 (UTC)Reply

@YborCityJohn: You're welcome! I suggest that you use Twinkle to tag pages with protection templates. It usually adds protection templates with the |small=yes option enabled by default so it only appears as a lock icon at the top of the page and not an intrusive large box. Reversion of DMY date format changes edit

Hi My Chemistry romantic. Just wanted to let you know that I reverted your good faith edits as described on Talk:Arcimoto#This is a US company and therefore the article should use mdy dates. I don't know why the Template:Use dmy dates was placed in this article even though it does not apply. Except for a few inconsistences that I fixed, the date formats in the article were consistently with the month first. I also placed the Template:Use mdy dates in the preferred position (i.e. at the top) to eliminate the source of confusion. My Gussie (talk) 03:45, 2 October 2016 (UTC)Reply

Accepted Edit on Random-access memory edit

Hey My Chemistry romantic, I was wondering if you could explain why you accepted this edit on Random-access memory? It seems to have added some junk code. If there's something I'm missing, please let me know. Thanks! --bojo1498 talk 14:16, 17 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

@Bojo1498: Sorry about that, I didn't see in the page history that another editor had reverted the user's changes previously as there was no reason for that. In any case, I felt that the edit was acceptable as it didn't mess up the page appearance.--My Chemistry romantic (talk) 03:44, 18 December 2016 (UTC)Reply

MCR edit

Thank you for this edit. On an unrelated note, is your username a play on My Chemical Romance? It seems so, but I found no mention of the band on your userpage. Kailash29792 (talk) 11:05, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

@Kailash29792: Yup, it indeed is a play on the band's name. I don't really know much about the band though, my username originates from a joke one of my friends came up with. I'll add a quick note about my username's origin on my userpage soon.--My Chemistry romantic (talk) 11:09, 10 January 2017 (UTC)Reply

Good faith revert of undiscussed date format change on Marawi crisis edit

I have noticed changes on the date formats on the Marawi crisis article, changing all dates to day-month-year from month-day-year format, and you have not discussed such changes that may be controversial, that's why I reverted them back to the previous format. As the date format changes are controversial, with the article having strong national ties with the Philippines, that usually follows the month-day-year date format, I reverted them back to the previous date format. I'm just keeping good faith on this situation. TagaSanPedroAko (talk) 15:39, 5 June 2017 (UTC)Reply

Removal of the template undone, why? edit

You have undoing my removing of template. What ist for you "unexplained" in my removing? What you have to like to by explained more? I have added another section with evidence and citation indicating that the "Dakian-Theory" was a "protochronism" in the communist regime. What do you like more?Petre Pascu (talk) 11:51, 4 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

@Petre Pascu: What do you mean by "Dakian-Theory"? The existence of Dacians is beyond dispute, whether they were the ancestors of Romanians is neither proven nor disproved. Not all historians from the Socialist Romania sold baloney for a living, there were honest professionals, too. Tgeorgescu (talk) 05:29, 8 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
:@Tgeorgescu: you say: "The existence of Dacians is beyond dispute, whether they were the ancestors of Romanians is neither proven nor disproved." Exactly! But this was not the official view of the communist regime. With "Dakian theory" I mean exactly this wrong view of the communist regime, that's what Dan Alexe calls "Dacopatia". And there is no doubt that there have been many great professionals in all areas of science, only their opinion was not the officially propagated theory. The present-day Romanians are the descendants of the Walachians, who originally came from the south of the Danube (see the writings of Choniates, Comnena, Villeharduin, Eyewitnesses of the Time). They are therefore descendants of Wallachia and so far no Wallachians themselves, just as "Deutsche" are not "Germanen" or "Gothen", etc. Villeharduin calls the Eastern Roman Empire until 1204, south of the Danube, "Roumanie" and its inhabitants "le Blac" or "valaques". What Western historians call "Bulgarian Empire" Vileharduin calls "Blachia", etc. A wide field of discussion.
