List problems on multiple articles

edit

I've noticed I've had to remove a bunch of lists you've been making. Most minor players don't need these types of lists since they will wind up being 0–12 or 0–3, or 1–5 in most of the encounters. That's why they're minor players. These lists have always been done for top 10 players, not some arbitrary group of players, and the list should be complete (or as complete as you can make it). Just throwing out 5 or 6 names makes the article non-encyclopedic. Also, you have removed names from other lists with no reason as to why. All your edits need a summary explaining to other editors what you have done. This helps us catch mistakes. And the term is not Head vs Head. we usually format this as follows:

  • "Head-to-head record against other players"
  • Jane Doe's win-loss record against players who have been ranked World No. 10 or higher is as follows:

If you have further questions about how we format these things please ask me on my talk page or those at Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Tennis. Thanks. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:44, 23 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Fyunck(click). I wanted to let you know that I undid one or more of your recent contributions to Magdalena Maleeva because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, you can use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! Why are you removing names from top 10 player's pages with no summary as to why, plus added 3 or 4 names to minor players lists for no reason?   Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Michael Jackson. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia.   This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted, preventing anyone from linking to them from all Wikimedia sites as well as potentially being penalized by search engines. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
