Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Image for Beharbari Outpost.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Image for Beharbari Outpost.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 11:46, 7 February 2019 (UTC)Reply

File:Image for Beharbari Outpost.jpg edit

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for the calculation of the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. See User:RonBot for info on how to not get these messages. Orphaned non-free image File:Image for Beharbari Outpost.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Image for Beharbari Outpost.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. --B-bot (talk) 17:33, 3 April 2019 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for July 30 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited List of longest-running Indian television series, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Asianet (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 10:16, 30 July 2019 (UTC)Reply

Episode counts edit

Please don't update episode counts until AFTER they are actually broadcast. Wikipedia articles should be about what has happened, not what will happen. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 20:22, 22 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Again, please don't do this. It's disruptive. Ravensfire (talk) 00:23, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

September 2019 edit

Hello. This is a message to let you know that one or more of your recent contributions did not appear constructive and has been reverted. Please take some time to familiarise yourself with our policies and guidelines. You can find information about these at our welcome page which also provides further information about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. If you only meant to make test edits, please use the sandbox for that. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you may leave a message on my talk page. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 00:23, 25 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Ravensfire (talk) 16:12, 29 September 2019 (UTC)Reply

October 2019 edit

Please do not add original research or novel syntheses of published material to articles as you apparently did to Kanchanjangha. Please cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. Thank you. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 16:58, 14 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did on Ratnakar (2019 film). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Fylindfotberserk (talk) 12:17, 21 October 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia. Again, DO NOT CHANGE BROADCAST COUNTS UNTIL AFTER THE SHOW BROADCASTS. You've been warned about this time and again and continue. Stop. Ravensfire (talk) 22:38, 9 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Jonack. Your edits appear to be disruptive and have been or will be reverted.

Please ensure you are familiar with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines, and please do not continue to make edits that appear disruptive. Continued disruptive editing may result in loss of editing privileges. Do NOT update episode counts until after the show broadcasts, see WP:CRYSTAL. Ravensfire (talk) 17:52, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Please stop adding unsourced or poorly sourced content, as you did on Rang (TV channel). This violates Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. The paragraph in the intro you're pushing is extremely promotional and has no sources at all. That's not acceptable on Wikipedia. You also need to include a source for upcoming shows that demonstrates they will be broadcast here. Using reliable sources to support information you add to articles is basic Wikipedia editing, you should be familiar with this by now. Please start using sources and discussing changes that get reverted or you're going to end up blocked from editing. Ravensfire (talk) 17:58, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

Episode counts, again and need for sources edit

Mriganka Reading, you've been asked several times above to stop updating episode counts for future shows that haven't been broadcast. I've left personal notes and warnings and templated warnings about this. You need to stop doing this. Wikipedia represents what has happened, not what will probably happen. If you continue doing this, the only options left to me are to take this to WP:ANI asking for you to be blocked if you won't change your ways.

You also need to start including reliable sources when you add information to articles. Shows that are being broadcast are generally their own source, but for upcoming shows, you must include a link to a source showing it will be broadcast on a particular channel. Readers need to be able to verify what's in an article, and the sources make that happen. This holds even more true when adding text to an article. This section from Rang (TV channel) that I removed here is completely unsourced and extremely promotional in tone. Both of those reasons alone would merit removal or rewrite. Given there's a short description above what was removed that covers the basics, it absolutely should be removed from the article. Don't add it back in without adding the reliable, secondary source (not the channel itself, not a blog, not a tabloid or clickbait article). Ravensfire (talk) 18:09, 11 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom 2019 election voter message edit

Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:24, 19 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you disrupt Wikipedia, as you did at Rang (TV channel). How many warning need to be left on this? Don't update episode counts until they broadcast, even if it's just a couple of days away. Wikipedia is patient. Yes, counts as of November 23 are actually in the future as today is the 20 / 21 depending on time zone. Stop. Ravensfire (talk) 18:29, 20 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you add unsourced material to Wikipedia, as you did at Rengoni. Again, sources are required for verification by readers which is a core policy of Wikipedia. You have given no reasons why you will not include a source and no discussijs on this. Next one will go to ANI asking for a block to prevent further disruptive edits and to get you to prove your editing. Ravensfire (talk) 17:14, 21 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

ANI Notification edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. --Ravensfire (talk) 16:15, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

As you have not addressed any of the concerns raised nor bothered to discuss them at all, this is the only option left. Ravensfire (talk) 16:16, 24 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

November 2019 edit

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Rengoni. For all of the reasons you've been told before. Yes, I know this is useless because you will ignore anything that doesn't fit what you want to do, but this at least makes it clear that your edits are against Wikipedia norms. Ravensfire (talk) 13:57, 25 November 2019 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours for persistently making disruptive edits. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. Mriganka, Ravensfire has tried in earnest to communicate basic editing principles to you. There is no crime in being unaware of the rules, but when someone tells you what the rules are and you ignore them, that behavior is extraordinarily disruptive. Please don't add any more unsourced content, and please don't update airdates or episode counts before an episode has aired. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball and we do not predict what will happen in the future. Additionally, if English is not your strongest language, you might want to contribute at a Wikipedia in your native tongue.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Cyphoidbomb (talk) 15:12, 25 November 2019 (UTC)Reply
