Adolf Hitler edit

As soon as your block is removed, you continue to make elementary errors in grammar:

Bohemian = someone who comes from Bohemia
bohemian = living a bohemian lifestyle

Ok, sorry, I didn't know that. Master Katarn (talk) 15:23, 14 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Avoiding original research edit

You need something like manuals/official guides or developer statements, not some completely random (never heard of Altered Gamer before) dudes' original research about what they think is "semi-official". Btw, common English spelling is "ninjutsu". --Niemti (talk) 14:39, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Also ninjutsu is not even what you think it is. If Scorpion was to be any realistic and anyone cared, taijutsu for hand-to-hand combat, kenjutsu for sword-fighting (and it wouldn't be a Eureopean sword), shurikenjutsu for throwing sharp things, and sojutsu for spear fighting (the real Japanese spears were nothing like that). But I guess no one told you how Mortal Kombat is and always was supposed to be a purely fantasy silly game. --Niemti (talk) 14:53, 18 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

ANI Notice edit

Hello. This message is being sent to inform you that there is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. I have reported your behavior for discussion. Some guy (talk) 20:51, 23 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

June 2012 edit

Do not remove Biographies of Living Persons prods from articles without addressing the issue, as you did with Roland Düringer. You are, however, welcome to comment about the proposed deletion on the respective talk page instead. Thank you. Taroaldo (talk) 01:23, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Your edits edit

Hi. I saw the report at WP:ANI, and I have checked some of your edits. Unfortunately, I have had to revert some, so I thought I'd explain myself here (and hopefully help you to understand why some of your edits are problematic). I've also included some explanations of edits that other people have reverted...

  • Venice. In this edit, you changed "Venice is a city..." to "Venice is a big city...". But if you have a look at List of cities in Italy by population it's only 11th and not particularly big. Unless something clearly deserves a size-related adjective by a clear objective measure (eg something is measurably "the largest"), we should not add subjective descriptions like "big", "small", etc.
  • Tuscany. In this edit, you changed "Tuscany is a region..." to "Tuscany is a small region...". But if you look at Regions of Italy, you'll see that it is actually the 5th largest by area out of 20. (And it is pretty clear from the map on the page that it isn't one of the smaller ones).
  • Michael Clarke Duncan. In this edit, you changed "6 feet 5 inches (196 cm)..." to "6 feet 5 inches (195 cm)...". But 6 feet 5 inches is 195.58 cm, which, to the nearest cm, is 196 cm, not 195 cm.
  • Lou Ferrigno. In this edit, you made the same edit as above, except in this case you removed the automatic conversion template (which correctly converted it to 196 cm) and replaced it with your own manual version.
  • Bullying. In this edit, you changed "Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior manifested by the use of force or coercion to affect others...", to "Bullying is a form of aggressive behavior manifested by the use of force or coercion to affect a social weak person...". That's problematic for a number of reasons - it is grammatically poor, and it is unsourced personal judgment - it is not *always" a "social weak person", and the sentence goes on perfectly adequately to say "...particularly when the behavior is habitual and involves an imbalance of power". Then, after being reverted, in this edit, you changed "others" to "a person", which is again incorrect - bullying is not restricted to only cases that involve a single victim.
  • Stereo Love, In this edit, you added a claim that the song also reached the top of the German and Greek charts to the lead - but in the body of the article it says that it only reached #4 in Germany, which is not the top, and it doesn't mention the Greek charts. The lead should reflect what the body of the article says, and should not add extra unsourced claims.
  • You have also made a number of grammatical changes, where your version was simply incorrect. For example, in this edit, with the summary "corrected bad words", you replaced perfectly correct English grammar with your own incorrect grammar - and then you edit warred to reinstate your bad version after it had been reverted.
  • You have made a lot of unsourced additions and changes. You should only add or change material if you can provide a reliable source to support it - see WP:RS for an explanation.
  • You have been making personal attacks on other editors, calling them "retard" and "stupid" - if you do that just once more, you will be blocked.

I think a lot of this stems from your imperfect command of English, and though it is good, it is not up to the standards required to judge finer points of grammar. I suspect what you are doing in a number of cases is making what you see as minor corrections, or changes simply because you think your version just sounds better - and with the Venice example, you were doing it even as the ANI discussion regarding your problematic edits is in progress. I think you need to stop making these minor edits, do not make any grammatical changes or other minor "corrections", and do not add anything (like "big" or "small") that just reflects your personal judgment. I would strongly suggest you seek a mentor, and only edit within their guidance. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:24, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for continuing to edit war to insert your erroneous edits, and for continuing to make incorrect grammatical changes, even while there is an ANI report in progress about your edit warring and about your incorrect grammatical changes. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:26, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

A block for the time of indefinite without a warning is completely unacceptable. Please unblock my account at once and I won't continue editwarring in any case and I will behave myself in future. My account name is very important for me. Now please give me a last chance and all I need is a mentor. Now please unblock me. M0RG@N (talk) 12:35, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

This unblock request is not even nearly compelling. You'll need to elaborate on what you won't do in the future and how you will behave. Max Semenik (talk) 12:44, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You have had numerous warnings and have had previous blocks (see the history of this Talk page), and are currently the subject of a report at ANI about your edit-warring, about your repeated incorrect grammatical changes, and about your abusive insults. You have had plenty of opportunities to stop what you are doing, but you have ignored everything and everyone until you got this latest block - to the point of carrying on with the problematic edits while the ANI discussion is still in progress, and even edit-warring over them! Now, an indefinite block is not necessarily an infinite one, and it could be reduced to a fixed time or even lifted altogether - but you will have an awful lot of convincing to do at this stage. (I'd started, so I finished) -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:46, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

PS: you say this block was without warning, but that is ludicrous - your Talk page history is little but warnings, and the ANI discussion is full of explanations of the disruption you are causing. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 12:48, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
OK I got it, now please reduce the block for a time of 24 hours and I will behave in future at once. I will stop edit warring and I will discuss different meanings of other users out. Can you please unblock my account now please? I understand that this is my one last final warning, ok? Please reduce it. I must edit more articles. M0RG@N (talk) 13:27, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
No, nobody "must" edit anything here. I've actually been back over more of your edits and have reverted more of them - in this case several occasions when you changed content to be different to what the sources say. As for unblock, I personally do not think you are sufficiently competent to edit the English language Wikipedia, so I will not unblock you myself. And I would certainly oppose reducing your block to anything as short as 24 hours - you have already had one 24 hour block, and it had no effect on your behaviour whatsoever. But another admin might disagree with my assessment, so feel free to make a new unblock request using the unblock template. At the very least, I suggest you would need to fully explain every one of the errors you have been making, in a way that convinces the reviewing admin that you fully understand all of the problems, and explicitly explain what you will do differently rather than just saying you will behave now. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:47, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
(PS: I have moved your latest comment back here - you should not add new comments to an already-closed unblock request, but instead should add them to the end of the discussion, or make a new unblock request -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 13:48, 24 June 2012 (UTC))Reply

Request reason:

Dear admins. Many of my contributions were not useful. For example I made grammatical errors and I also attacked users who tried to revert my false edits to several articles. I was also edit warring and I also used threats against users who had other opinions than me. I regret my work on the English Wikipedia and I will make sure that I will behave this time and I won't make any vandalism actions anymore. Please unblock my user account and please give me a last chance and I will follow the rules of the Wikipedia immidiately. Please, please, please give me a last chance. M0RG@N (talk) 15:40, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'm sorry, but surveying your whole history here I do not think that at present you have the competence to make a useful contribution. Partly this is a matter of temperament and experience (I am guessing that you are quite young) and partly of language difficulties. So I am going to make the Wikipedia:Standard offer - come back in six months and explain what sort of edits you would like to make and how your behaviour will be different. It will help if, meanwhile, you make useful contributions to another Wikimedia project. Your account at the German Wikipedia has no blocks but not many edits; if you edit there you would have no language problems. If in six months' time you can show a clear block log and a record of useful contributions at :de that will count strongly in your favour. JohnCD (talk) 10:26, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Morgan, you have indicated that you were blocked at some previous point on the German Wikipedia, but your current account has no blocks there. Did you create this account as a new account after being blocked in a previous account? Some guy (talk) 22:12, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hard to believe, Morgan. As recently as a few hours ago, you were playing word games such as this, and still making unfounded accusations such as this. You said you wanted to talk about Roland Düringer, yet you have not responded at the article's talk page [1]. I don't see any sincerity anywhere. Taroaldo (talk) 22:20, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

He actually hasn't been able to respond on that talk page, or anywhere else, since 12:26, 24 June 2012, when he was blocked. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 23:11, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
No, I haven't the possibility to talk about it because I was blocked. Now I thought of my actions. Now please unblock me and I promise that I will follow the rules at once! If I make one mistake, you can block me forever if you want. Please give me a last chance. M0RG@N (talk) 23:31, 24 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
@ User:Boing! said Zebedee - I am aware of that. I left the comment about BLPSPS on Talk:Roland Düringer at 01:29, 24 June 2012. The diffs I provided above showed that he again removed the PROD tag (or reverted it, if you prefer) at 10:39, 24 June 2012 and left the argumentative comment on my talk page at 10:39, 24 June 2012. There was ample time to respond to the BLPSPS issue before he was blocked, but he chose not to. Taroaldo (talk) 02:00, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
While I agree there are problems here, not responding to you within a period as short as a few hours is not valid grounds for criticism. -- Boing! said Zebedee (talk) 10:37, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Morgan Katarn is a block evasion sockpuppet of Furko Nellis (talk · contribs) edit

From poking around on the block logs on the German Wikipedia for the day before Morgan started editing here, I found his previous account: [2] . He was blocked at the German Wiki for poor editing, and blocked on the English wiki for blatant vandalism. I am quite convinced by numerous articles that have been edited by both accounts and the similar edit summaries that Morgan is a sock of Furko Nellis. Should we report him there for evasion? If so, I don't know how well I would be able to communicate in German with Google translate, so if anyone here speaks German... Some guy (talk) 21:52, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I followed the same trail, and I have raised Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Furko Nellis. Let's see what checkuser says, then I'll inform :de. JohnCD (talk) 22:06, 25 June 2012 (UTC)Reply
