Hi Mooack. It's much improved. Could you convert all the sources so they are in the <ref>{{cite web |url= |title= |work= |author= |date= |accessdate=August 5, 2014}}</ref> format? I have some other thoughts but will wait to hear back on this first. -- GreenC 13:47, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

hello @Green Cardamom:. I hope I have understood you correctly. I have updated all those references I had that just listed websites, into the format you mention. Is that what you meant? Also, do I need to sign on my own talk page? Well, just in case...Mooack (talk) 07:54, 21 October 2014 (UTC)MooackReply

Looks better I cleaned it up some more. Right now there is a redirect page for George Pearson Centre holding up the page move so I have submitted a request to delete the redirect and then the AfC will move into mainspace, maybe by today. Regards. -- GreenC 15:57, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
  Done -- GreenC 21:18, 21 October 2014 (UTC)Reply
@Green Cardamom:Thank you!!! for the redirect delete request, whatever that may be, and all your help. I think I should remove 'homepage' from the references, it looks weird. First create an article, now to learn how to edit an existing one. Mooack (talk) 07:19, 23 October 2014 (UTC)Reply

A good way to reach me is to post on your talk page {{ping|Green Cardamom}}, that will put a red flag that I see. For example @Mooack: (you should see a red flag up top). -- GreenC 13:50, 5 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for December 24 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Lac la Hache, British Columbia, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Voyageur. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Hi Mooack. I had your Talk page on my watchlist so I saw the above notification. I have requested that the draft be undeleted so that you can continue to work on it. Take care, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 16:56, 6 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Thanks! I have kept meaning to get back to this article...but wow time flies. Back on my radar now. Appreciate the support as I don't quite understand how all this works and my to-do list runneth long :-) Mooack (talk) 21:50, 25 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
Lovely! Welcome back! The Articles for Creation process is definitely confusing and slow - once you think the article is ready to go live, I suggest moving it to mainspace yourself rather than submitting it for review. Or let me know it's ready and I'll do it for you. Let me know if I can help in any way. Cheers, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:35, 26 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Significa liberdade, seeing this made my day! If you don't mind me asking, how did you manage to find it in Draftspace? We rarely see anyone other than the original author collaborate on Drafts. Cheers and thanks for doing this, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 16:42, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
Hi! I was working on the Cybils Award page. Atinuke had won the award once and been shortlisted another time, which made me interested in seeing if she had a page or other notable contributions. I went to create the page myself and found the draft! Significa liberdade (talk) 16:45, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
That is so cool :) Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 17:00, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply
@Significa liberdade this is so cool! Thanks so much for filling in the rest. It's been kinda weighing on me to finish! I will try to fill in the 'citation needed' as it all came from some reliable source. Mooack (talk) 18:08, 23 March 2023 (UTC)Reply

Mooack, as promised above I asked for this to be undeleted and it was. Thanks for your work on this. The sources you cited are good from a reliability perspective. Would you be able to find sources that focus on Patricia rather than on her husband, are not primarily interviews, and were not written by her or by someone close to her? Reviewers will want to see at least three of those types of sources. The top factors in getting an article accepted are 1) sourcing, 2)sourcing, and 3) sourcing; writing quality is further down on the list ;).
By the way I'm happy to help as much as I can but the people at the Teahouse have a lot more experience with biographies so they'd be able to give you better guidance. They're all really friendly. Cheers, Clayoquot (talk | contribs) 05:35, 5 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
