A barnstar for you! edit

  The Original Barnstar
It is a good document.

We in India are also a great admire to Kazi Nazrul Islam. I think you should include that he was an Indian Bengali as well as Bangladeshi in his nationality.

Disambiguation link notification for June 19 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Selim Al Deen, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Bengali (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Martial arts template edit

I am undoing your revision of my edit on the template. As much as you may wish to promote the Bangladeshi martial arts articles that you yourself created, they are not notable. In case you are not aware, that template only includes articles of C-class, but all your articles are stubs. And please see this section of the talk page for the issue of creating and adding more pages for "ethnic" martial arts. Morinae (talk) 16:05, 8 September 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am undoing your revision of my edit on the template. As much as you may wish to not promote the Bangladeshi martial arts. Obviously they are notable. I think you are not aware that my articles are not stubs as well as there are many articles which are stubs in this template. Many articles are also wrote without proper citation and I think you haven't seen all the articles. So, without proper reason do not change any thing.(Mohd. Toukir Hamid (talk) 11:42, 12 September 2013 (UTC))Reply
You are correct, I have not seen all the articles there. I encourage you to remove any other links from there which are stubs or which have no proper citations. But if you so insist, I won't argue for the removal of the "Bangladeshi martial arts" at the moment. For a better solution would you allow me to alter the template slightly while still including your articles? Morinae (talk) 12:03, 13 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
I think you can improve or can give citations where there is not. Without removal any articles the template can slightly alter for looking good.If you have any question just ask me.(Mohd. Toukir Hamid (talk) 12:48, 16 September 2013 (UTC))Reply

Instead of constantly reverting, you are supposed to discuss the issue first. For now, I will only revert your nationalistic edit on the lathi khela article. Have you not noticed that the information you removed is sourced? If you revert again without discussion, I will put your actions forth to an administrator. Morinae (talk) 06:22, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

What vandalism do you refer to? What are the "heroic efforts"? I encourage you to make an official complaint if you wish. You would deny that lathi khela exists in India even when the sentence is sourced? You bend facts to pretend that boli khela is different from kusti? Complain if you will, I have broken no rules. Morinae (talk) 06:28, 12 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Didn't you see that these articles have references. You have changes a lot. Every articles depends on references in Wikipedia which have been given. You said boli khela is same to kusti. If I ask you these all are wrestling types of martial arts and needed to merge with wrestling then what will you ask? You must know Wikipedia rules and regulation before contributing.(Mohd. Toukir Hamid (talk) 06:59, 12 November 2013 (UTC))Reply

(talk page stalker)Just found that the source (Comprehensive Asian Fighting Arts) which was used to verify that Lathi khela originated in India actually never mentioned "Lathi Khela", here is the link- [1]. --Zayeem (talk) 16:14, 15 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

I am quite aware of the rules and regulations. But now that you seem open to discussion, I will not make any further edits on those pages and instead discuss my points with you here first. As a Bengali-speaker, you are undoubtedly aware that boli khela is also commonly called boli kusti. Bangladesh is in third place (after Pakistan and India) in international kusti. These wrestlers practice boli khela. If they were not the same, this would surely not have been possible. You have surely seen boli khela and kusti matches. They are practiced on dirt floors, their training methods are the same. These are not variant styles, friend, they are the same thing. You can ask any boli khela wrestler and he will agree on this. Furthermore, you seem to have misunderstood your own sources. Jabbar-e Boli Khela is not a style of wrestling, it is a wrestling competition. This is written in the sources you provided. For the moment, I won't bring up the topic of lathi khela. Morinae (talk) 16:58, 15 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

(talk page stalker)You are mixing this up. Kusti is a Persian word which means "Wrestling". Boli Khela/Bali Khela/Boli Kusti is a traditional form of wrestling that originated in Chittagong District of Bangladesh, this link from Banglapedia can explain it better. Boli Khela is unquestionably a notable topic that deserves an article of its own in wikipedia. --Zayeem (talk) 18:56, 15 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

Your link only further proves my point. Boli khela was created in the Mughal period by combining native malla-yuddha with Persian koshti. Anyway, this is not the proper place for discussion, so please bring your arguments to the boli khela talk page. Morinae (talk) 14:11, 18 November 2013 (UTC)Reply

November 2013 edit

Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Lathi khela may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
  • '''Lathi khela''' {{lang-bn|লাঠি খেলা}}) is a traditional Bangladeshi martial art which is a [[stick fighting]] practiced mainly in eastern

DS edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.
