Your contribution Wikipedia:Environmental Impact of Triglycerides in Wastewater is a fine homework project but it is a not ready for Wikipedia. It is written like a school essay, sort of trying to explain things. I realize that you are required to undertake this project and that your intentions are very good, but the work is just written naively, in my opinion. It would be good if your teacher got a little involved. --Smokefoot (talk) 13:41, 6 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Structures and Reactions

edit

You should read Wikipedia:Manual of Style/Chemistry/Structure drawing - jpgs are not a suitable format for such items. You also need to to add a license in future, if the image has any chance of remaining. Choice of license is yours, but {{PD-chem}} is an often used one. Also Wikipedia has cleared out all the chemical drawings and moved them to commons. Suggest upload them there at c:Commons:Upload - it's much harder to track down images you made, if they have been moved to commons by someone else (and you don't get any potential deletion notices). Commons will still expect either high quality png or better still svg files. Ronhjones  (Talk) 21:12, 6 December 2014 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Triple quadrupole.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Triple quadrupole.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Kkmurray (talk) 16:37, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

The copyright information is here: http://what-when-how.com/copyright-information/ - It doesn't look like the image is open source. Why not try to create your own schematic based on the published image? You can also look in Wikimedia Commons,[1] but I didn't find a good image there on a quick search. --Kkmurray (talk) 16:47, 16 March 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Triple quadrupole schematic editpart2.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Triple quadrupole schematic editpart2.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.
