Discussion of Wikipedia Autoinjector article after speedy deletion edit

,

Hi, there.

This morning I received a message that a page that I had been working on for months and that was approved with a C grade was speedily deleted with no review. Not sure where to turn, as I can't access the page content at all, and the administrator has not included a contest button and doesn't seem to participate in "Talk".

Any advice would be appreciated.

Medscrib, If you go to the deleted page here, you will see the "signature" of the admin who deleted the article, with a link to their talk page. The best thing to do is to go the Talk page of that admin (which is here), and ask if the admin will undelete the article and move it to draft space so you can work on it more. They might say no, but that should be your first stop. if that fails, go to WP:REFUND and make a formal request for undeletion, and the community may decide to undelete it. If you need help with any of that, you can reply here and I'll help you.
If you would like my thoughts as to why I nominated it for speedy, i would be happy to discuss that with you. Jytdog (talk) 17:30, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Yes, please [Jytdog]. I've requested that on the talk page of User_talk:JamesBWatson as recommended by [Andy Dingley]. Let's please move the discussion over to that page. It's a bit confusing to me that you're using two different Wikipedia accounts. Makes it difficult to follow the proper protocol. Medscrib (talk) 17:54, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
He isn't using two accounts. -Roxy the dog™ woof 18:57, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
My mistake. JamesBWatson has two talk pages, which led me to some confusion, and there was no link to this Wikipedia Talk page from the talk notice I received about the deletion. There is now some discussion happening on JamesBWatson's first talk page. I'm relatively new to Wikipedia, so unclear on how this speedy deletion process works. One person nominates? One approves? And then it's gone? Medscrib (talk) 19:06, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Kind of yes. Anyone can tag an article for speedy deletion but only an administrator can actually delete the article. Regular users cannot delete articles. But yes, it takes 2 people. Jytdog (talk) 20:11, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Thanks. Please add your specific concerns about content in the article to User_talk:JamesBWatson. You've used strong language: "The purest advertisement you will see in Wikipedia." From my perspective, I was presenting the information in a straightforward and factual manner (despite the lower case e's). If I've used promotional language, please provide a clear indication of where that is in the article (now that it's been deleted I can't even see it). Medscrib (talk) 20:21, 18 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
Speedy deletion of an article that has been approved and rated as C-class by someone other than a sole contributor seems quite inappropriate in principle. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 06:13, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
well lots of things seem X; you didn't see it, i take it. it looked a lot like stuff you find here. It was jarringly brochure-ish. Jytdog (talk) 06:20, 19 April 2016 (UTC)Reply
