Sorry to see you go. You and I butted heads on the Josip Belušić article (personally, I think you may have been exhibiting a bit too much Balkan pride (and for the record, I have no prejudice against Balkans -- mоја жена је Српкиња)), but I thought the work you were doing on lesser-know artworks was really quite good. I hope you reconsider, and recognize that all of us are just here to make a better encyclopedia. Some of us (and I'll count myself among them at times) might be a bit rough on the newcomers. I hope you'll reconsider after taking a cooling off period. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:14, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply

  • I second WikiDan61's comments. Your reaction to a minor edit on an article you started was out of all proportion to the issue, and escalated very quickly, but otherwise you have added useful content on interesting paintings, and I certainly have no desire to see you stop. I'm sorry you took my comments in such bad part, and hope a break will let you see things in a different light. --Andreas Philopater (talk) 21:35, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Yes, I'm sorry to see you go, & hope you will return. For the record, bit you couldn't find in WP:VAMOS is "For works belonging to permanent public collections, avoid "... currently resides in", "is currently in the Louvre", "is on display at", "is located in", "is in the collection of", and similar phrases. Just give the name of the collection, "Metropolitan Museum", or say "is in the Louvre", "is owned by", "now in" or "belongs to"....", Johnbod (talk) 22:27, 3 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
  • Bull, you are a good Wikipedia. Just have to learn to take criticism and suffer the fools gladly (and along the way learn from a few of them who know the pathways). But reading from your user page before you blanked it I certainly hope you come back and enjoy what you can contribute because, you do know, your creations and edits are for the readers and the enhancement of human knowledge. Some editors don't play well with new people, and this is one of the shames of Wikipedia, because one of the five pillars of Wikipedia is to treat our fellow Wikipedians with civility and respect. You can probably teach some of them a thing or three about that. As for your art pages, nice work. Thanks for sharing your interests and good writing with the English speaking world.
