Speedy deletion nomination of Help:Unrelated page

A tag has been placed on Help:Unrelated page requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

Nonsense, that namespace doesn't exist. @creator: you cant create a namespace by creating a help page for it. That needs to be done by a system administrator in the config file (And in this case they wont do so)

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Testing

Hello, if you want to test something, please do so At the sandbox or on a subpage of your userpage. Please dont create test pages anywhere else, as there probbably show up in search results and could confuse other persons, but that can also cause that the person thinks how bad wikipedia is, when they find your test. Thanks, Victor Schmidt (talk) 15:15, 13 June 2019 (UTC)

Redirects

Hi. Just letting you know that redirects should be mentioned by name at their targets. If not, they can be nominated at RfD. When you created redirects for the album tracks from OK Orchestra, you pointed them to AJR (band), but they were not mentioned there and were not particularly valid targets at the time because there is no mention of them there. While sure, the article was not long after moved into the mainspace, you should just wait because they should be valid targets at the time you create them (but you also did not repoint them when the article was accepted). Redirects should point to a place where there is more information on those tracks. If there's not information there at the time, best to wait. Thanks. Ss112 18:47, 30 March 2021 (UTC)

Concern regarding Draft:Advent of Code

Hello, Mattx8y. This is a bot-delivered message letting you know that Draft:Advent of Code, a page you created, has not been edited in at least 5 months. Draft space is not an indefinite storage location for content that is not appropriate for article space.

If your submission is not edited soon, it could be nominated for deletion under CSD G13. If you would like to attempt to save it, you will need to improve it. You may request userfication of the content if it meets requirements.

If the deletion has already occured, instructions on how you may be able to retrieve it are available here.

Thank you for your submission to Wikipedia. FireflyBot (talk) 05:03, 4 May 2021 (UTC)

Advent of Code

Hey, Mattx8y! I was adding the creation of Advent of Code to my to-do list when I noticed you'd already started a draft for it. Are you still going to work on that? If so, I'd love to help out with it, but if not, I'd be happy to take over. I just don't want to make a conflicting draft and all that, so let me know when you get a chance, and have a great day! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 04:21, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

@Bsoyka: I started it a while ago while Advent of Code was running, but lost interest in continuing it (if you look at the previous message on my talk page you can see that FireflyBot sent me a message about its inactivity). Feel free to take it over if you want, I no longer have any interest in it. Mattx8y (talk) 14:58, 10 May 2021 (UTC)
Sounds good, thanks! I'll probably start a fresh draft in my userspace, just didn't want to mess with anything you had going on. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:08, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Mattx8y pfp.png

A tag has been placed on File:Mattx8y pfp.png requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. Your draft article, Draft:Advent of Code

Hello, Mattx8y. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Advent of Code".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. If you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 05:17, 2 August 2021 (UTC)
