Mary I of England

edit

Dear Marcin, You've reverted more than 3 times on the same page in a 24 hour period

As you are a relatively new user, you may not be aware of wikipedia's editing policies, however, reverting more than 3 times in 24 hours breaches one of our behavioral rules called the "three-revert rule": see WP:3RR. I did mention this in my last edit summary [1]. You should undo your last revert and return the page to the previous revision. Secondly, you have tagged your reverts as minor. This is inappropriate; the minor tag should only be used for small typos or obvious misspellings, or reverting obvious vandalism. If you revert editors in good standing and tag that revert as minor, the other editor is likely to see it as an insult.

File:Mary1 by Eworth.jpg is an unrealistic portrait; it shows Mary as too young. At the time of the portrait she was 38. Secondly, higher definition images are generally preferred and the portrait showing her more realistically File:Mary1 by Eworth 3.jpg is of higher definition, and hence a better quality. Consequently, I think we should use the more realistic, high definition image. DrKiernan (talk) 18:15, 1 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

Reply: :) I have other opinion about the portrait and their connection to reality, but since neither of us has ever seen The Queen living, so I hope we can agree on the portrait of Mary by Anthonis Mor File:Mary_I_of_England.jpg, can we?
