Scriptlogic software stubs

edit

Please see WP:SOFTWARE. Some of the stubs have already been WP:AFD, I suspect the rest will shortly follow. There are links from Scriptlogic to each of the products on their site, and it seems you are copying information from their webiste. This is, in general, considered a violation of copyright. Please see Wikipedia:Copyright_FAQ. Cheers Clappingsimon talk 15:14, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Might be better to expand Scriptlogic with some detail on each product. Cheers Clappingsimon talk 15:21, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
These pages are copyright violations and have been marked for speedy delete for reason Article 8 WP:CSD. Cheers Clappingsimon talk 15:40, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
You could halt each CSD by editing each page's talk (per instruction in CSD box) and stating that you are about to compeletly rewrite the page from scratch (and then do so). Unfortunately your website has a copyright notice at the bottom of each page, so you can't argue public license. But then you still have to establish the notability of each individual piece of software. I'd just expand the Scriptlogic page and allow the others to be deleted.   Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, the external links you added do not comply with our guidelines for external links. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. [1] (Requestion 01:12, 9 March 2007 (UTC))Reply

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

This is your last warning. The next time you insert a spam link, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Persistent spammers may have their websites blacklisted as well, preventing anyone from linking to them from any site that uses the MediaWiki spam blacklist, which includes all of Wikimedia and Wikipedia.

The final warning was violated by User talk:65.248.131.254 and User talk:Nealbush with this edit [2]. (Requestion 17:27, 28 March 2007 (UTC))Reply
