Hello, MainMasked, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Draft:Masked, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason.

To reduce the chances of your contributions being undone, you might like to draft your revised article before submission, and then ask me or another editor to proofread it. See our help page on userspace drafts for more details. If the page you created has already been deleted from Wikipedia, but you want to save the content from it to use for that draft, don't hesitate to ask anyone from this list and they will copy it to your user page.

One rule we do have in connection with conflicts of interest is that accounts used by more than one person will unfortunately be blocked from editing. Wikipedia generally does not allow editors to have usernames which imply that the account belongs to a company or corporation. If you have a username like this, you should request a change of username or create a new account. (A name that identifies the user as an individual within a given organization may be OK.)

In addition, if you receive, or expect to receive, compensation for any contribution you make, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation to comply with our terms of use and our policy on paid editing.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Help me}} before the question. Again, welcome! Your draft article, Draft:Masked

edit

Hello, MainMasked. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Masked".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:36, 10 January 2024 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of MainMasked

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on MainMasked requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a band or musician that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. April 2024

edit

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions; however, it appears you may have written a Wikipedia article, or a draft for a Wikipedia article, about yourself, at MainMasked. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – please see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Notable people who have edited Wikipedia). If you wish to add to or change an existing article about yourself, you are welcome to propose the changes by visiting the article's talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was the page I created deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss this with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administration,

I am writing to request a reconsideration of the recent deletion of a page I created and the subsequent restriction placed on my Wikipedia account. I believe there has been a misunderstanding regarding my intentions.

I have been an active member of Wikipedia for nearly two years and am fully familiar with its rules and guidelines. My sole intention in creating the deleted page was to provide relevant and accurate information about a notable individual. My aim was purely informational, allowing readers to easily find and learn about this individual on Wikipedia.

I assure you that I have always endeavored to comply with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. I kindly request that you provide me with a form to submit my appeal and reconsider the restrictions placed on my account.

Thank you for your understanding and consideration.

Sincerely, MainMasked Masked2023 (talk) 21:07, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

You've been provided with instructions on how to appeal, which you should submit as you did this appeal. I would suggest you write it without the aid of an AI(GPTzero says this request is 100% certain AI generated). We want to hear from you, not an AI. 331dot (talk) 21:15, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Please place your request below; this may be easier to do if you click "edit" and not "reply". 331dot (talk) 21:16, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I'm writing to appeal the recent deletion of a page I created and the subsequent restriction placed on my account. I understand that you prefer to hear directly from the user rather than through an AI-generated message. I've been an active Wikipedia contributor for almost two years and am well aware of the site's guidelines and policies. My intention in creating the deleted page was solely to provide valuable and accurate information about a notable individual, allowing readers to easily find and learn about them on Wikipedia. I kindly request that you reconsider the restrictions placed on my account. I assure you that my intentions were genuine and in line with Wikipedia's mission to provide free and accurate information to the public. Thank you for your understanding and consideration. I don't use any ai or something like that, i just wanna after 4 hours working on a page for creating a knowledge for a good rapper see the results but you just in 4 minutes deleting all my text and destroy my time without any true reason and this is funny you block my account for a nice joke, please be honest with yourself and with me and say you don't wanna see the Asian guy grow up in the wikipedia.Masked2023 (talk) 21:26, 12 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I'm doubtful that you could be well aware of the site's guidelines and policies when you have only made 16 edits with this account. Did you previously edit Wikipedia for "two years" with another registered account? Because this account hasn't been active for even one year so far. Also, all of your edits are about this one person who shares your name which makes this account appear to have a conflict-of-interest. Do you want to contribute on Wikipedia on subjects other than Masked? Liz Read! Talk! 03:29, 13 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
I would add that Wikipedia's mission is absolutely not "to provide free and accurate information to the public". Wikipedia makes no guarantee of accuracy. We just try to summarize what independent reliable sources say about topics that are deemed notable. 331dot (talk) 07:34, 13 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
