WikiProject assessment tags for talk pages

Thank you for your recent articles, including A Negress, which I read with interest. When you create a new article, can you add the WikiProject assessment templates to the talk of that article? See the talk page of the article I mentioned for an example of what I mean. Usually it is very simple, you just add something like {{WikiProject Keyword}} to the article's talk, with keyword replaced by the associated WikiProject (ex. if it's a biography article, you would use WikiProject Biography; if it's a United States article, you would use WikiProject United States, and so on). You do not have to rate the article if you do not want to, others will do it eventually. Those templates are very useful, as they bring the articles to a WikiProject attention, and allow them to start tracking the articles through Wikipedia:Article alerts and other tools. This can help you too, as the WikiProject members will often defend your work from deletion and try to improve it further. Feel free to ask me any questions if you'd like more information. K'inich Kan B'alam II

Why did you move K'inich Kan B'alam II to K'inich Kan B'alam II? Also to rename all of those Maya language names so that they have no ' would need a reliable source. The ' character is a glottal stop and is need in Maya language words. Without a reliable source, someone would be justified in reverting all of these edits. In 2011/2012 thanks to this article https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Negress we were able to help recover this painting,

I will maybe give a short presentation about it at the wikimedia conference in San Diego.

I am not sure this is the original article because the history only goes back to 2013, do you know if there was an earlier version before that? Or maybe the article I read was of the artist but I can't remember :-)

Europe 10,000 Challenge invite

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Europe/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like Germany, Italy, the Benelux countries, Iberian Peninsula, Romania, Slovenia etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. If you would like to see masses of articles being improved for Europe and your specialist country like Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon, sign up today and once the challenge starts a contest can be organized. This is a way we can target every country of Europe, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia.
