Hi there, though I know you meant well, I've reverted these recent edits of yours at Whip It (film), because they didn't seem constructive to me. The sources indicated the film was a financial flop. The LA Times called it a flop, as did The Guardian. While I don't think "flop" is appropriate tone for an encyclopedia, it's not inaccurate to say that the film performed poorly at the box office. What is not accurate to do is to fundamentally change the critics' attitude toward the film's financial performance by shifting it from "flop" to "miniscule success" and "a very small and marginal box office success". Films aren't lemonade stands or hardware stores and they sometimes have a complicated financial structure that isn't as simple as budget and gross. There are other costs, like print and advertising that aren't part of a production budget, but that are spent on the film. If a film makes back its production budget that's not necessarily breaking even because maybe they're still out their marketing fees or special deals the studio might have with an actor. And if if a film's gross exceeds its budget, that's not necessarily a profit. See this article from io9, which says that as a rule of thumb, a film has to make 2x its budget worldwide to be considered profitable. Anyway, your analysis of the film's financial performance is not supported by the references. It would be appreciated if you'd please avoid adding your personal opinions to articles in the future. Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Pat McAfee. NBA infoboxes edit
