First communications

edit

Well, as you can see from the existing Internet Relationships page, there is much to be explored within the field of Internet Relationships. For me personally, I would like to further research the psychological factors that contribute to maintaining a relationship online. What about yourself? Tlarco29 (talk) 11:58, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Luciana, I am also highly interested in the internet relationship field. I know Kate is also, I thought it might be an idea to let you know this as we could potentially all work together. Charlierose91 (talk) 12:02, 1 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Charlotte, What aspect of internet relationship are you interested in? I' mainly interested in how people converse online through different mediums and also the psychology behind the way people communicate online. LucianaFash (talk) 15:10, 6 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi, after reading your user page i have discovered that you also have an interest in Internet relationship and would just like to notify you that I am interested in this topic too Kate Carter-Rigg (talk) 03:04, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi Luciana! :) I did contact you last week but didn't get a response, I was just wondering what aspect of internet relationships you and Tom were thinking of looking at, as Kate and I are also interested in the area. Charlierose91 (talk) 09:34, 8 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi guys. When creating our page, after typing it in Word, do we copy and paste our working progress into our own 'My Sandbox' :) LucianaFash (talk) 00:20, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Also, sorry Charlotte, I did respond to your message, it's just above Kate's here on my Talk page :) LucianaFash (talk) 00:58, 12 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Saw your message on Kates page, Thats okay, we will fill you in :) Charlierose91 (talk) 11:27, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Thank you. Sorry I had completely forgotten. LucianaFash (talk) 11:32, 13 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hey, Just been looking at the current Internet relationship page and it's covering the area that I am writing about. I'm just asking if you think I should be editing and merging that in with my work. As it is clashing with what I am writing at times with the technologies? LucianaFash (talk) 09:55, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I am saying this as it crops into my area with talking about high speed internet and so forth. I won't be merging it a lot and I will keep it as the introduction. Just I don't want to be repeating what it is saying about high speed internet. LucianaFash (talk) 10:00, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay, try it and see how it goes in your sandbox and then if there is an issue we can address it later, if it comes to it, we can re-write the introduction :) Charlierose91 (talk) 10:05, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Okay, great. I don't want to change it much, as it's quite a nice introduction. Just it's stepping on my toes a little with talking a little about the technologies.:) LucianaFash (talk) 10:08, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Alrighty, well, we shall just see how it goes :) Charlierose91 (talk) 10:20, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah I can see how this has happened and having checked the page we need to make it clearer who's covering which topics within "internet relationships" so that we don't all write brief entries or excerpts that cover similar things. Maybe we should sandbox what we have so far and begin to piece together an order for the article etc? Tlarco29 (talk) 11:09, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Yeah. Although I would like to write a little more first before sandboxing mine. I thought the order had been established with Technologies being first, then your section, and then Charlottes on anonymity and dating, and then lastly Kate's section on the affects it has. Or would people prefer a different order? Just that order seems most logical to me... LucianaFash (talk) 11:21, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Mine is sandboxed and also some of it is on the page Kate Carter-Rigg (talk) 11:24, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

What do we think to the article order? And cool Kate, i'll have a read later over yours :) I've just put the banner up, that it is an educational project on the page, as it hadn't been done yet. LucianaFash (talk) 11:35, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

I was told to put it on the talk page and thats were i placed it so i moved it Kate Carter-Rigg (talk) 11:46, 15 March 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm not sure I am posting in the right place :/ I already left a message on Kate's talk page because it was the first I saw but I noticed there is a group of you guys working on the Internet relationship article so I wanted to ask all of you. This is the message I left for Kate: Hi! I am currently working on a class project to write a wikipedia article on a communications topic. I chose to write on the ways the internet is used for different types of communication. I am new to wikipedia too but I saw your article and don't want to go in and completely edit or delete you work. I was wondering if it would be okay if I add sections like personal relationships such as online dating and one on how the internet is used in the business world? If I have my own article, there would be too many similarities to yours and since they are both regarding the same topic, I figured we could merge! Hope to hear back soon. Thank you!
