Final Philosopher edit

Hey, I'd sure like to be adopted. If that's alright with you, I'd be thrilled. Final Philosopher (talk) 23:40, 29 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello! edit

Yes, of course I want you as adopter! But do you want me?

About me edit

I'm 13 (almost 14) years old and I live in Holland! So my native language is (of course) Dutch! I don't know if you find it a problem, but as you can see, I can on a normal level English. I'm also active on WP-nl and WP-de, I will also start on WP-fr. I would like to translate on WP-en and to protect WP-en from vandalism.

Greetings, Timk70 (talk) 18:21, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I'd be more than pleased to have you as my adoptee. Welcome to my program. Do not hesitate to tell me if my program lacks in an area. I will be adding more lessons shortly.
My lessons can be reached from my user page or here. I will add a link to the class room on your user page.

Woow, you lessons are really helpfull! Great! And would you like make lessons about "How to translating on WP-en?"? But Well Done! Greetings, Timk70 (talk) 22:44, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

adoption edit

Hey Linuxzarth, thanks for the offer - I'm grateful for any help. I'm a few days from uploading my first "major" edit. Once I do, I'll let you know, and maybe you can look it over and give me some pointers for getting it to GA or FA status. Maniacmagee (talk) 20:06, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Just finished the edit. I thought it would be fitting to start with my namesake. Could you look it over and tell me what you think it needs to get to GA/FA status? Thanks! Maniacmagee (talk) 23:28, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Implied YES edit

What if someone, maybe an editor or not, reverts my edit? I've gone to the reverter's user talk page and explained myself, as they requested. I await their response. I would go to the harmonious editing crew in a small effort to save my larger efforts. Comment?

Also, my watchlist won't show all. Bug? Be There Do That (talk) 19:43, 15 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

I love linux too. I'm reading "Linux Kernel Internals". To enable this read, I have to refer to Computer HW and SW Arch book, and other Operating System books. I have a Elec Engr degree from '89, worked 10 years, and have been semi-retired 10 yr since 20001.

Cpiral, I'm sorry I can't offer more constructive criticism. I appreciate you taking the time to explain each part of your edit to me, as I had asked you to do, but all I can say is that I think they aren't improvements. If you want to try again I will let your edits stand, and if someone else reverts them (probably Eubulides, he might be able to better explain his reasoning than I can. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 15:27, 17 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi! edit

Okay, well I would like to have you as a mentor. I have made a few edits, but most of them were minor. But, I have no idea how this Adopt-a-user thing goes. Can you tell me something about this first? Infocraze (talk) 10:16, 16 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Adoption tag maintenance edit

Greetings Linuxzarth, I'm glad you've chosen to adopt new users. Besides posting on their talk page, please change the {{adoptme}} template on their main user page to {{adoptoffer|Linuxzarth}} in your case. This will keep the users seeking adoption category tidy. Happy adopting - Draeco (talk) 06:53, 21 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Mildred Plew Merryman moved to draftspace edit

An article you recently created, Mildred Plew Merryman, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.
