May 2017 edit

Hello, I'm DVdm. I noticed that in this edit to American Crime Story, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. DVdm (talk) 16:07, 18 May 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I am 7e2, I think you noticed how I was having trouble adding a reference to the American Horror Story (Season 7) page. I was hoping you could teach me how to add a reference cite, that would be nice.

Orphaned non-free image File:American Horror Story Season 6 DVD.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:American Horror Story Season 6 DVD.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in section F5 of the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. -- AlexTW 11:55, 21 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Edit summaries edit

I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks!  I dream of horses  If you reply here, please ping me by adding {{U|I dream of horses}} to your message  (talk to me) (My edits) @ 03:33, 6 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Bad Blood (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Bad Blood (Once Upon a Time in Wonderland) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from screenrant.com/once-upon-a-time-in-wonderland-season-1-episode-7-reviews. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Television episode reviews edit

Thank you for your work on American Horror Story episodes. I have an unrelated request. The "11 Years Later" article has been nominated for deletion. I'm wondering if you might be able to help with the "Reception" section real quick since you're familiar with TV episode review sites. You're also invited to contribute to the ongoing deletion discussion, if you're interested. No problem if you're uninterested in this request. Keep up the great work, and happy editing! ---Another Believer (Talk) 22:41, 8 November 2017 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I'm RonBot, a script that checks new non-free file uploads. I have found that the subject image that you recently uploaded was more than 5% in excess of the Non-free content guideline size of 100,000 pixels. I have tagged the image for a standard reduction, which (for jpg/gif/png/svg files) normally happens within a day. Please check the reduced image, and make sure that the image is not excessively corrupted. Other files will be added to Category:Wikipedia non-free file size reduction requests for manual processing. There is a full seven-day period before the original oversized image will be hidden; during that time you might want to consider editing the original image yourself (perhaps an initial crop to allow a smaller reduction or none at all). A formula for calculation the desired size can be found at WP:Image resolution, along with instructions on how to tag the image in the rare cases that it requires an oversized image (typically about 0.2% of non-free uploads are tagged as necessarily oversized). Please contact the bot owner if you have any questions, or you can ask them at Wikipedia talk:Non-free content. RonBot (talk) 19:31, 20 July 2018 (UTC)Reply

August 2018 edit

Your recent editing history at File:American Horror Story Season 8.jpg shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See BRD for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in your being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. -- AlexTW 23:29, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Please note that if you revert again, you will have violated WP:3RR on the file. -- AlexTW 23:30, 21 August 2018 (UTC)Reply

Source used on American Horror Story: Apocalypse edit

As I don't live in the U.S., I can't see the FX source you put on the page recently. However, could you copy and paste the cast list on to this page, I'm not doubting its veracity (well it's FX) or your editing, I just want a look at it. Thank you. TedEdwards 23:00, 11 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Hey :) I have better :) I don't live in the US too so I can't watch it directly, but by using this little proxy online with the network website address: https://www.fxnetworks.com/shows/american-horror-story I was able to go on the website and check myself directly :) Lady Junky (talk) 23:26, 11 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

List of American Horror Story cast members edit

As I haven't seen the season yet, I can't be sure about any edits I do on this article, but if a character has appeared, they do not need any sources next to their character and if the name has appeared in the opening credits, the appearance does not need to be source (but if they haven't appeared yet, they need a source for their name). Also, are there no special guests for this episode? (If you haven't seen the episode either, please ping in an editor who has) TedEdwards 09:22, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Saw the ep and no special guest. I'll edit the list based on who appeared or not in the premiere ^^ Lady Junky (talk) 09:25, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
(talk page watcher) They don't need a source? Based on what? Everything needs to be sourced. -- AlexTW 09:28, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
@AlexTheWhovian: As in they don't need an inline citation, as the program can source their appearance and the name of their character as we are making no interpretations. TedEdwards 10:16, 13 September 2018 (UTC) And Lady Junky, just to check, is it that Erika Ervin appeared, you just don't know the name of her character yet? Btw is the episode any good? TedEdwards 10:19, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Episodes are only meant to be primary sources for the content given in the episode table, nowhere else. -- AlexTW 10:25, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
So why is nothing sourced has nothing got inline citations for Murder House to Cult on List of American Horror Story cast members? TedEdwards 10:28, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
Because it seems to be the (unfortunate) common practice to. Continue it if you'd like, it's up to you and the editors of said article. However, we should always look at adding more and keeping sources on Wikipedia to satisfy WP:V. -- AlexTW 10:59, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
@TedEdwards: Exactly. Ervin is in the episode but they did not reveal the name of her character yet :) And I thought the episode was good ^^ Lady Junky (talk) 10:41, 13 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Just a notice that I've created a draft that will eventually be moved to List of American Horror Story: Apocalypse characters, which you are welcome to edit in case you didn't know. Thank you TedEdwards 15:09, 20 September 2018 (UTC)Reply

Oooooh! I was about to give a look at that myself! Awesome :D Thanks for telling me! Lady Junky (talk) 15:13, 20 September 2018 (UTC)Reply
So, I've added character bios upto and including "Could It Be... Satan?", as that's how far I can watch so far. Since there now seems to be a decent about of text in the draft, it might be able to go into the mainspace, but I was wondering if you could look at the bios and see what you think of them and possibly improve them. I mean, I can't oblige you, so I'm just asking. It's just only me, you (belated thank you for that btw!) and an IP have edited it so far, but I'm thinking if it gets into the mainspace (and therefore links are made to it), more people might edit it. Thank you anyway. TedEdwards 00:24, 21 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
Hey! Sorry that I took so long to give you a reply ^^' I gave a look at what you did and it seems good :) I also completed as much as I could the stories, up until the latest ep ("Return to Murder House"). Well, at least, I did it for the Apocalypse characters on this page. So, it should be good to get into the mainspace now :) Lady Junky (talk) 02:28, 24 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
No problem :). So I've now requested a technical move request, so hopefully it should be in the mainspace not too far into the future. TedEdwards 21:29, 24 October 2018 (UTC) And it's now in the mainspace! :)TedEdwards 22:37, 24 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Updating accessdate edit

Hello, I'm AlexTheWhovian. I noticed that you made one or more edits to an article, American Horror Story: Apocalypse, concerning the updates of review statistics, box office numbers, sports statistics, or some other frequently updated data with a fixed web address, but you did not update the |access-date= parameter in the citation template. The |access-date= parameter is the full date when the content pointed to by the URL was last verified to be working and supporting the text being cited in the article. This means that the parameter needs to be updated whenever the content is updated. If you need guidance on referencing, please see the referencing for beginners tutorial, or if you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page.
