Content warning template

edit

Hello! I see you added an explicit content warning template to the Sadomasochism article. While I can see that your intentions are well-meant, Wikipedia does not add warnings like this: this is covered by Wikipedia's general content disclaimers. Please see WP:NOTCENSORED and Wikipedia:Content disclaimer for more information on this. -- The Anome (talk) 15:22, 8 June 2018 (UTC)Reply

AfD Vote

edit

Hi LaEremita, thanks for voting on Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Perplexity.ai. However, I noticed that you placed your vote in the middle of the nomination statement. Could you please move it to the bottom of the page and keep that in mind in the future? Thanks! PopoDameron talk 21:22, 3 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Liz, Thank you for contacting me. I initiated the page at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Draft:Rosa_%27Pat_Nixon%27 in hopes that someone who is a better WP editor than I, someone perhaps with an interest in designer roses/gardening and an interest in American Presidential history, might assist further in the creation/edit of the page -- I put citations and resources into that (talk?) page to give such a person the beginning materials they might need to do the initial work. The rose was especially bred for First Lady Pat Nixon and at one time was sold through the Nixon commemorative/souvenirs store, but is no longer offered. It made headlines at the time that it was gifted to her, and is mentioned (perhaps red linked there, I forget) in a different Wikipedia article as noted in the resources I seeded for the page. It is not easy to find information 'out there' about the rose, but it seems an intriguing detail in the history of that former First Lady. Unfortunately I am not competent enough in WP editing to write that article at this time. LaEremita (talk) 04:11, 18 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
