File:Gargantua Black Hole Infobox.jpg

edit

Hello. This image still does not have any information on its copyright status, so I've partially restored the tag you removed (I restored it as a no-license tag, removing the no-source portion). As it appears to be a screenshot from a film, you will need to comply with Wikipedia's non-free content rules if you want to keep it on Wikipedia. --Nick—Contact/Contribs 02:30, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Please do not remove file deletion tags from file description pages on Wikipedia, as you did to File:Gargantua Black Hole Infobox.jpg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Nick—Contact/Contribs 02:47, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Copying from other sites

edit

Please do not copy wholesale from other sites as you did at Gargantua in this series of edits. Even when the site allows copying, and the licence is Wikipedia compatible, it is still necessary to give proper attribution and comply with the licence. Copying without attribution is plagiarism. In any case, copying text directly is rarely a useful thing to do.

You also wiped out the original redirect which is a bad thing. That link needs to be retained through disambiguation. SpinningSpark 11:45, 19 May 2015 (UTC)Reply

Non-free rationale for File:Corbomite Cube.png

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Corbomite Cube.png. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under non-free content criteria, but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia is acceptable. Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified the non-free rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions, please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:17, 4 October 2015 (UTC)Reply

MfD nomination of Wikipedia:Administrators and bureaucrats

edit

Wikipedia:Administrators and bureaucrats, a page which you created or substantially contributed to, has been nominated for deletion. Your opinions on the matter are welcome; you may participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Administrators and bureaucrats and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Wikipedia:Administrators and bureaucrats during the discussion but should not remove the miscellany for deletion template from the top of the page; such a removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. TheGeneralUser (talk) 07:31, 2 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
