Speedy deletion nomination of File:F. Charles Froelicher.pdf

edit

A tag has been placed on File:F. Charles Froelicher.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Help me!

edit

Can you help me format the beginning of my first article? I pasted it and did not know how to avoid the automatic Summer of Monuments heading. Please help me with... Posting my first article, a bio of a living person. It is currently a Word doc with footnotes. I have read your style and other guidelines, but actually doing it bring mystery. Thank you for any advice. Kmillett (talk) 19:40, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have moved the draft from your userpage (which is meant as a place to write something about yourself as an editor if you want to do so) to a sub-page, User:Kmillett/F. Charles Froelicher, and did some copyediting, adding paragraph breaks, a link to a related article and a sample footnote. However, your draft does not cite any reliable published sources that are independent of the subject. You may want to check out WP:Referencing for beginners; the video at that page explains how to easily cite references. Huon (talk) 20:31, 21 July 2014 (UTC)Reply
You have blanked the draft. Blanking a page whose author and sole major contributor you are usually is seen as a request for deletion. If you want me to, I can delete the page, but I'd like to make sure that really is what you intend. Huon (talk) 19:30, 3 August 2014 (UTC)Reply

Yes, Please delete it. ktm — Preceding unsigned comment added by 174.51.227.195 (talk) 23:09, 3 August 2014 (UTC)Reply
