Errors on templates

edit

I see that you generated Template:Top Winter Olympics medal-winning nations and Template:Top Summer Olympics medal-winning nations. I notice that the V.T.E links don't work, so you need to make the necessary corrections. --David Biddulph (talk) 13:22, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Hi! What kind of links are you talking about? Kineolody (talk) 15:08, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, didn't understand what you meant right away. I'll fix them. Thanks for informing me about that! Kineolody (talk) 15:13, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
What you'd got wrong was the "name" parameter, which is what the V.T.E links use. I've corrected one of the templates in this edit. I'll let you correct the other one. You may also want to request deletion of the unnecessary duplicate template Template:Footer Winter Olympics Medal Table Leaders By Year. --David Biddulph (talk) 15:29, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply
Thank you! Is it correct now? Kineolody (talk) 15:39, 28 April 2020 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to 2004 United States men's Olympic basketball team, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. You' would need to cite reliable sources on the impact of the 2000 team.Bagumba (talk) 14:17, 6 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
