Hello, I'm Doniago. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Misery (film), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Genius appears to be a self-published source and as such would not be considered reliable. Re: Doniago - "Misery"

edit

Hello @Doniago:. I see your edit. I wasn't aware that that wasn't considered a proper source, as there are hundreds of pages on this site that are sourced just the same, yet they have not been altered.

What, if not that site, is considered a reliable source for lyrics? The lyrics can be attested from several different sources,so this wasn't something I was just adding arbitrarily.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Killerchef (talkcontribs)

I don't currently have an opinion on whether the site is reliable for the lyrics themselves (though I have my doubts), but it appears that anyone can add notes regarding the lyrics to the site, not necessarily with editorial oversight, making said notes inherently unreliable. Even if the lyrics are a reference to the film...which I'll be the first to admit they probably are...the source wouldn't satisfy WP:IPCV as it doesn't discuss the reference to Misery beyond the fact of its occurrence. Hope this helps! DonIago (talk) 20:45, 15 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Hindsight (EP)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Hindsight (EP) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a musical recording which does not indicate why its subject is important or significant, and where the artist's article does not exist or is eligible for deletion itself. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for music.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ‡ Єl Cid of Valencia talk 20:26, 13 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
