Hello Liliana,
Sorry that I did not respond to your message earlier. I only gained access to editing on Wikipedia on August 22nd after the IP Block Exemption being granted to me, since I have to use a VPN from mainland China.
The publish of the article in the discussion here is a mistake from my friend logging in my account trying to help me to edit from USA. Due to his carelessness, he did several wrong moves from publish and page movings. After reading your and other volunteers messages here, I have requested him to stop this and I have waited for my access being granted.
As shown in my new editing (being deleted under your speedy deletion tag), I can guarantee you that I have used proper format and adhere to the guidelines of Wikipedia. My intention is share the first-hand materials from the archeologist team's discovery from China on the grottoes (we have made three trips in two years to accumulate more details on the three grottoes here, all in Heshui County).
I sincerely apologize for the wrongful actions happened before and hope you can understand.
Thank you!

Hello Praxidicae,
Thank you for the vigilance and message, I apologize for the wrongful editing on August 18th. I am based in mainland China, therefore, I was banned from editing using VPN (mainland VPN is required to access Wikipedia to start with)
This is another try from me to have overseas friend to help (I used to have other Wikipedia accounts friends to help publish the findings from the teams' work on archeology in China). He logged in in my account, but due to his carelessness, he made several mistakes in publish and page movings. I sincerely apologize for his behaviour and promise you the intentions are good.
And after reading your messages, I asked him to stop helping and I just waited for Wikipedia to grant me the IP Block exemption, which I have gained just a few days later, which is very appreciated, now I can share more about China's cultural heritage with first-hand materials.
I felt the previous editing history on this account left a wrong impression and intention for me, I sincerely apologize again and would like to explain the situation and hope you can understand.
Thank you!

You may be blocked from editing without further warning the next time you move a page disruptively. PICKLEDICAE🥒 12:59, 24 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Pickledicae,
Thank you for the editing and reminder. As the the original source of the "Lianhua Temple Caves" (A team of archeologist from Dunhuang Academy China studying on the grottoes), I can guarantee you nothing I have edited is disruption, but a pure correction.
Since I was not able to access the English Wikipedia editing, I had my overseas friend to create and edit on the page, but unfortunately due to a language barrier, he did not do a thorough job on this. Now I have gained the access to edit from mainland China, I think it is necessary to improve the quality.
1) The article name - as shown in the edited citation, the English name of the grottoes was decided on and given by Chinese scholars two decades ago and shown in a published paper, therefore the new title is not just whim from for fun.
2) The two added caves - the highlighted two caves were the results of our team discovery and the original version oversimplified the caves rather than providing details. I could have shown the pictures the archaeologist team took last summer, but I am still in the process requesting the right to upload pictures from mainland China.
3) The citations - my friend mistakenly use books as citation, but I am guarantee you that all the citations I have used in the original source, most of them are journals, as clearly demonstrated in the new edits, I think it is very important to make sure these are correct references.
I hope these can clear things up and please do not hesitate to let me know if there are anything I can help to explain for the editing.
Thank you very much!
Veronica KeruKnowledge (talk) 01:28, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
My apologies the paper identifying the English name of the grotto as "Lianhua Temple-Cave" was published on 2011, and here is the reference link. https://buddhism.lib.ntu.edu.tw/search/search_detail.jsp?seq=393098&comefrom=authorinfo
The citation as "合水县莲花寺: 藏在子午岭的"小莫高窟" is not a book, but only a web page, and here is the link https://baijiahao.baidu.com/s?id=1599794381501752442&wfr=spider&for=pc
Here is the Chinese Wikipedia page that I have edited on the same grotto for the reference, therefore I can assure you once again my intentions are pure and just would like to share the cultural heritage in a academic-accurate way (Lianhua Temple-Cave | Chinese: 莲花寺石窟): fhttps://zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%8E%B2%E8%8A%B1%E5%AF%BA%E7%9F%B3%E7%AA%9F KeruKnowledge (talk) 01:57, 26 August 2022 (UTC)Reply

Hello Liliana, sorry for the late reply, it seems you have been trying to communicate with me since 18 August. My name is Veronica and I am based in mainland China,
Yesterday was my first time being granted to edit on English Wikipedia after the IP block exemption. And my first article is "Heshui County Grotto Group", and unfortunately I have contested but have not replied to your message which led to a deletion of the article, haha, no worries, I totally understand. I just want to say hi here and also let you know that before 21 August, the editing was from my friend overseas (since I could not edit back them) to "play around".
Thank you for spotting both of the articles out. Also since you are already familiar with the article on "Heshui County Grotto", may I please ask for your help to let me know what can I do to avoid "to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view"? At first, I thought was in the title as capitalized word "group", but then I also saw your message on 18th August, which has no "group" in the title. Could you please kindly let me know? Since this is a report that has been worked on in the field research and also with a lot desk research on the topic, it is important that it is being corrected documented so that the cultural heritage can be properly shared and known for the world.
Thank you again for your kind editing before, also looking forward to your reply.
Sincerely, Veronica KeruKnowledge (talk) 01:03, 22 August 2022 (UTC)Reply
