editWelcome to Wikipedia.
September 2012
editI am adding Scot Aaron's poArt Expressionism website http://poartexpressionism.com/ . Scot has working 16 years on his poArt Expression this expressionistic art form. The http://poartexpressionism.com/ website is more than 1 year old. This is poetry and art, clearly in an expressionistic style.
Please add a comment to this talk page if you "wish" to removing this external link.
Your link
editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. [Response -- HOPEFULLY WIKI can share valid art in a connected field poArt Expressionsim! ] Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you....Modernist (talk) 17:32, 5 September 2012 (UTC) RESPONSE- In my personal opinion an External link to the poArt Expressionism does more justice to wiki.
Please read this WP:EL...Modernist (talk) 17:33, 5 September 2012 (UTC) HELLO......... this is poART Expressionism. Students and those interested deserve an external link to the page.
a Response
editOf course I read the "external link" prior to your copy and paste. Scot Aaron started his poArt Expressionism in 1994. He has over 1000 paintings, each with their unique poem. This is an artistic movement within Expressionism. As you should know, expressionism starts in Germany with both painting and poetry. Scot Aaron combines a painting and poem in each artistic expression. I think this "external link" is justified. Thank you.
Edit warring
editYour recent editing history shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war. Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you don't violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
To avoid being blocked, instead of reverting please consider using the article's talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. See BRD for how this is done. You can post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection. ...Modernist (talk) 19:18, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Use the talk page before adding anymore links to Expressionism, thank you...Modernist (talk) 19:18, 5 September 2012 (UTC)
Over the top
editThis is your only warning; if you vandalize Expressionism again, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. ...Modernist (talk) 21:20, 5 September 2012 (UTC)

wow. in 24 hours you blocked me. I hope you are not the admin. You seem like a total freak. Good luck on your life and potential afterlife. Wow. I still think the external link does justice and will stand by my claim!!!

Your recent edits
editHello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button or located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when they said it. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 11:30, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
Help me
editThis help request has been answered. If you need more help, you can , contact the responding user(s) directly on their user talk page, or consider visiting the Teahouse. |
feel a vast disservice by an individual moderating the "Expressionism" page. This is really the first time. I made zero posts, I had mentioned this ordeal to 2 people who added the poArt Expressionism link. I still feel this is valid external link for viewers of the wiki Expressionism page.
So due to 24 hours - or about this - where I think this is a valid link, the poArt EXpressionism page is banded from wiki? Wow, is this true?
How can this be undone. Removed from whatever spam list? Thanks Julius JuliusJeff (talk) 15:02, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
- Please see Wikipedia:External links for our policies on what links are permitted and what aren't. The link you are adding is to a commercial site, it appears that you have a close connection to it and will benefit from its inclusion, and it appears your only goal here is to add that link. That is the definition of spamming, sorry. Promoting anything is forbidden on Wikipedia.
- If the site has been added to the Wikipedia blacklist, and you feel that this is incorrect, you can appeal for its removal from the list in MediaWiki talk:Spam-blacklist. But I doubt it will be granted. -- OBSIDIAN†SOUL 15:24, 6 September 2012 (UTC)
thanks for the so-called help
editHow many hours need to be spend to learn this wiki process?
I had a few hours, added a link. I will stand by adding poArt Expressionism to the wiki Expressionism page. Any viewer on the Expressionism page will gain by learning about poArt Expression. Have a great day :-)
