Unreferenced BLPs edit

Hello Jgera5! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 940 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Fair use rationale for File:CityofChampions.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:CityofChampions.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. --Hammersoft (talk) 23:16, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Dodge Ram -> Ram (pickup truck) edit

Regarding your recent move of Dodge Ram - did you see the discussion, now at Talk:Ram (pickup truck)#Requested move? The conclusion was to not move the article on Dec 23, 2009, and I don't think the case has changed much since then. Please discuss the move there first. --Vossanova o< 19:17, 1 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Removed Dick LeBeau from list of Steelers HoFers edit

Just wanted to give you a heads up that I reverted a change you made a while back in adding Dick LeBeau to the list of Steelers Hall of Famers. I don't believe that he belongs, since he was inducted as a player, but he never played for the Steelers. I am a bit ambivalent about the change, since it is commonly accepted that LeBeau's coaching career (notably as the Steelers DC) played a large part in his selection. However, I haven't seen anything from the Hall of Fame or the selection committee that actually states that. I'd welcome your feedback on the talk page.— DeeJayK (talk) 15:49, 30 March 2010 (UTC)Reply

Roger Goodell edit

Hi Jgera, regarding your edit with this diff, why do you think it is necessary to clarify that the players have moved to different teams? The table clearly states that the team listed is the team at the time of suspension. The section in question already strays way too far from being about Goodell, and really should be even further trimmed or moved to another article. Perhaps the solution would be to remove any mention of the teams, and just mention the players who are suspended. The references will tell the reader team info if they have any interest in it. For that matter, the player's article will tell the same thing. Huntster (t @ c) 00:55, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

1978 Pittsburgh Steelers season article edit

I realize it's been quite a while, but you participated in a discussion regarding improving the article on the '78 Steelers season. I've recently taken up the cause of getting this article up to Good Article standards and have made quite a few substantive changes to the article. There's still work to be done, but the article is shaping up.

I'd love it if you would take a look at what I've done and provide any feedback on the article talk page. Thanks!— DeeJayK (talk) 21:05, 21 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Integra Bank (Pittsburgh) edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Integra Bank (Pittsburgh), and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://companies.jrank.org/pages/1779/German-American-Bancorp.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. See our copyright policy for further details. (If you own the copyright to the previously published content and wish to donate it, see Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for the procedure.)

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 17:29, 8 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article The Simpsons Movie, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This is particularly important when adding or changing any facts or figures and helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. You are now a Reviewer edit

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 04:28, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

FAC withdrawn edit

I appreciate that you are acting in good faith, but it is best if featured articles are nominated by people who have worked closely on them. In this way, they can give reasoned replies to reviewers and be familiar enough with the sources to act on suggested improvements. Someone who has not worked on the article can not provide this input, so the nomination may continue until opposition to it becomes so overwhelming that the article is failed; this takes away time from reviewers. While the Terrible Towel article is of reasonable quality, it is not yet of featured quality, and principal contributors must be consulted before a nomination, as required in the featured article candidate instructions.
