Jenny.lemke, you are invited to the Teahouse
editHi Jenny.lemke! Thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. |
Outstanding start with this article! I have done a bit of wikifying to clean it up, but not changed the content except where I thought it might be unclear. I hope that's okay. I have also nominated it for a Did you know? article here. We'll have to see how it fares... --Bermicourt (talk) 16:41, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- The article has been further tweaked by Samuel Peoples and looks good for a DYK nom, but I'll ask another expert to help too. If you're not happy with any of the changes, I'm sure editors are willing to discuss them? --Bermicourt (talk) 19:24, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- Thank you so much for doing this - both the edits and the nomination! That is wonderful and I'm really looking forward to seeing if it might even go through! I will add a few more sources in a minute, the edits look justified to me! Cheers! Jenny.lemke (talk) 21:04, 5 June 2013 (UTC)
- We may just want to hang fire for a few days on adding more to Medingen Abbey in case we undo the DYK nomination (e.g. through adding stuff which isn't fully referenced). Once it's been posted on the Main Page, we can crack on. --Bermicourt (talk) 15:43, 7 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yay! Your article's been "promoted" and is in the DYK queue here. Well done, Jenny! --Bermicourt (talk) 17:02, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Yay! That is awesome! Thank you so much for putting it forward! :) Do you know when I can expect it to turn up on the main page? Still trying to get the hang of everything around here...Also, I'm on my phone, so I apologise if anything in my answer looks weird.Jenny.lemke (talk) 17:26, 8 June 2013 (UTC)
- Found it, nevermind! :) Jenny.lemke (talk) 13:48, 9 June 2013 (UTC)
A barnstar for you!

Great work to integrate the different source types - from panel painting to map - and making a piece of medieval German history accessible to Anglophone readers. Laehnemann (talk) 15:07, 7 June 2013 (UTC) |
DYK for Medingen Abbey
editOn 10 June 2013, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Medingen Abbey, which you created or substantially expanded. The fact was ... that the nuns of Medingen Abbey (pictured) produced a wealth of illuminated manuscripts in which they expanded Latin liturgy with vernacular prayers, lay-songs and meditations? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Medingen Abbey. You are welcome to check how many hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, quick check) and it will be added to DYKSTATS if it got over 5,000. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page. |
