Proposed deletion of S. Jayaraman

edit

The article S. Jayaraman has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. JDDJS (talk) 22:51, 8 March 2017 (UTC)Reply

List of Buddhist temples

edit

Hi, JediOne, I'm not sure how you saw my name "at List of Buddhist temples" since, as far as I know, I've never edited that page before. Anyhow, you said that there's a "lot of empty space in between". That's perfectly fine for stand-alone lists, and in fact, that makes them easier to be rendered on some devices. If you want to improve the list, consider copyediting/cleaning-up and adding more information along with sources. Or, you could also contribute with photos you have captured. Feel free to E-mail/ping me if you have further questions. Cheers! -- ChamithN (talk) 00:29, 24 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Death of S. Jayaraman

edit

Hi there, do you have any reliable source indicating his death? Please note for biography, wikipedia is very particular about personal information. Thanks --Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 03:20, 26 August 2021 (UTC)Reply

Hey Justanothersgwikieditor, what kind of source do you need? I have an obituary from Tamil Murasu and a death certificate. Both of which I am unable to find an online link to add to the wiki page. Please advise. Thank you.JediOne (talk) 05:30, 4 September 2021 (UTC)Reply

An online link to his obituary will be great, if not the offline link, aka just reference to the newspaper page (full details of the page, such as date and page) will suffice. Death Certificate will be considered primary source and too much personal information revealed.
NLB online newspapers only had up to 2016 which is a bit short of his supposedly date of death so sadly the more reliable reference is out of reach till another year i guess (assuming they will not archive it until that particular paper is more than 5 years old).
Did Tamil Murasu reported his death? An offline reference is okay also. Justanothersgwikieditor (talk) 01:23, 6 September 2021 (UTC)Reply
