Ich komme damit ganz hervorragend klar - auch Deutschland besteht nunmal nicht nur aus Goethe und Beethoven, sondern ist eine moderne Mediengesellschaft mit teils sltsamen, aber durchaus erklärungsbedürftigen Phänomenen. Portugese empire map

I have no skin in whether the map is any good or not. I am just going around reviewing dubious edits from a particular user, when he removes things, those removals are suspect. The map discussion page seems to make a good case for it having some validity though. Would "blatantly incompetent" be a "nice" way of saying in no uncertain terms that abf isn't exactly fit to be an admin here, at commons, or in fact anywhere? Status update

Hey hey. Danke der Nachfrage, es geht mir den Umständen entsprechend gut, as they say, war ja auch gerade sechs Wochen weg, also fernab von jedem Internetanschluss: kann ich nur empfehlen. Entgegen anderslautenden Gerüchten habe ich auch keine Morddrohungen oder Hassmails verschickt - Wikipedia hab ich also durchaus bleiben lassen, weil so oder so Schnauze voll, und meinen "Office-Action"-Ban hätte ich ohne automatische Benachrichtigung gar nicht mitbekommen; der wird, wie ich vermute, wohl auf ein gewisses wohlvernetztes WMD-Präsidiumsmitglied zurückgehen. Wahrscheinlich liegt darob & demnächst ein gelber Umschlag im Briefkasten; das ist nunmal der Preis, den man dafür zu zahlen hat, wenn man über "amerikanische" Literatur zu schreiben sich erfrecht. Nuje, ich werde es überleben, ich habe schon ganz andere Sachen überlebt. Angesichts solcher Methoden möge sich aber ein jeder doch nochmal Gedanken über seine Mitarbeit in diesem Projekt machen.
