Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Zubeen Garg may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "[]"s. If you have, don't worry, just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.

Zubeen Garg

Hi, Janiinsan, on your userpage, you refer to Zubeen Garg. Do you have any idea what the description on this file should be? Lotje (talk) 16:14, 17 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Uploading images

edit

In reply to your query: Your account will be autoconfirmed if it's at least four days old and has mate at least ten edits. Uploading images is tricky due to the copyright issues. Did you take the image yourself? Are you willing to release it under a free license that allows everybody to re-use and modify the image for any purpose, including commercial purposes? If so, you can upload it to the Wikimedia Commons via their Upload Wizard. You don't have to wait to be autoconfirmed for that. If the image hasn't been released under a free license, however, it likely cannot be used on Wikipedia. See [[[WP:Non-free content]] for more details. Huon (talk) 03:25, 18 August 2013 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Zubeen Garg Singer.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:Zubeen Garg Singer.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted images or text borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Click here to contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.   Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to List of songs recorded by Zubeen Garg, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of this template does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. Ad Orientem (talk) 02:49, 28 January 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. Continuing to remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia without resolving the problem that the template refers to, may be considered disruptive editing. Further edits of this type may result in your account being blocked from editing. You have been cautioned about this before. Please cease removing maintenance tags without resolving the problems. Merge discussion tags may not be removed until the discussion has been closed. Ad Orientem (talk) 02:13, 1 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Mark Arsten. I wanted to let you know that I undid one of your recent contributions, such as the one you made with this edit to List of songs recorded by Zubeen Garg, because it didn’t appear constructive to me. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mark Arsten (talk) 19:23, 7 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. The next time you remove the maintenance templates from Wikipedia articles without resolving the problem that the template refers to, as you did at List of songs recorded by Zubeen Garg, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. STOP IT! You have been warned repeatedly not to remove maintenance and merge tags yet you continue to do so. I am going to revert the edits. This is the last time I am going to play this game with you. Any further disruptive editing will be referred to Admin. Ad Orientem (talk) 19:21, 12 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 3 hours for continued removal of material. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}. However, you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.  Deville (Talk) 23:55, 14 February 2014 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
