Your recent article submission to Articles for Creation has been reviewed. Unfortunately, it has not been accepted at this time. The reasons left by DoubleGrazing were:

This submission's references do not show that the subject qualifies for a Wikipedia article—that is, they do not show significant coverage (not just passing mentions) about the subject in published, reliable, secondary sources that are independent of the subject (see the guidelines on the notability of people). If no additional references exist, the subject is not suitable for Wikipedia.

This submission does not appear to be written in the formal tone expected of an encyclopedia article. Entries should be written from a neutral point of view, and should refer to a range of independent, reliable, published sources. Please rewrite your submission in a more encyclopedic format. Please make sure to avoid peacock terms that promote the subject.

Press releases, passing (or no) mentions, and primary sources do not establish notability per WP:GNG. The only (seemingly) useful sources are #2 (of which #1 is just a reprint) and #9, and these are both clearly based on some sort of publicity campaign.

Hi! Sorry for the slow reply. I didn't get the original notification. Thanks for your explanation. I had a question about references: In your commented you mentioned on two articles were useful. However, #12 was a Hollywood Reporter story where Wendy is named as the producer of a film with significant stars attached. As with most articles like this, the stars are mentioned first but Wendy is credited as lead producer. Why would this not be considered useful? Hi. I also checked with the source of #2 and it was definitely not part of a publicity campaign. This article was written by an entertainment journalist who found out that Wendy was in New Zealand and wanted to interview her. The interview was arranged and the journalist had no prior connection or converstation with Wendy Benge prior to requesting an interview. JPartridgeNZ (talk) 22:45, 20 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
