Image source problem with Image:Venus Aphrodite Terra.jpg
editThanks for uploading Image:Venus Aphrodite Terra.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:31, 5 October 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. J Milburn (talk) 12:31, 5 October 2008 (UTC)
Signature
editHi, I just wanted to note that when you are adding material to articles please don't add your signature as well. Thanks. Enter CambridgeBayWeather, waits for audience applause, not a sausage 01:58, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
Editing
editWhile you are doing much good work there is a bit of a problem with adding all those external links in the body of the article. All that is required is a couple for references and not a lot, most of which seemed to be promoting an interview with yourself. Thanks. editPlease do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Kamloops. Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by some search engines, including Google. If you feel the link should be added to the article, please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. I'm concerned that you are adding a number of references and external links to web articles created personally by you. This may be a violation of WP: Original Research. If you disagree, please let me know. Otherwise I would ask that you not edit articles by adding external links to your own work, unless that work is found in a reliable secondary source (such as a peer-reviewed scientific journal, etc.). Spamming and inappropriate editing
editStop trying to publicize yourself by adding your name and links to your website/materials/interviews. Also be aware that edits like this will always be reverted. First of all you removed the references that are required and second the article is about a town in Newfoundland and you are overemphasing the crater. For most people there are far more important things they want to know about the town than if it has a crater on another planet named for it. At best all that is needed is a single sentence and stuff like this will alwasy get removed. At this point your edits are becoming disruptive and if you don't stop you will just end up being blocked. Agree with CambridgeBayWeather. You should also familiarize yourself with WP:NOTREPOSITORY. Singularity42 (talk) 17:43, 26 August 2009 (UTC)
File copyright problem with File:MARS_LACHUTE_Crater_3D_Surface_Panorama.jpg
editThank you for uploading File:MARS_LACHUTE_Crater_3D_Surface_Panorama.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.
If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:21, 13 September 2009 (UTC)

editI'm puzzled by your use of the form "International Astronomical Union and Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature": why and? I've been changing it to "the International Astronomical Union's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature". —Tamfang (talk) 03:03, 21 March 2011 (UTC)
Your usage of the word attributed is also rather peculiar. —Tamfang (talk) 18:18, 23 March 2011 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:MARS Map INUVIK Crater.pdf
editA tag has been placed on File:MARS Map INUVIK Crater.pdf requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F10 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file that is not an image, sound file or video clip (e.g. a Word document or PDF file) that has no encyclopedic use.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. The article Asintmah has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
No evidence of significant coverage in reliable sources.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.
Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ~~ AirshipJungleman29 (talk) 04:09, 15 January 2024 (UTC)
